Prometheus Energy Company announces that its annual accounts for
year to 31 December 2006 have been published and were posted to all shareholders
on 28 June 2007.  Copies of the annual report and accounts are available for
viewing at Jefferies International, Bracken House, 1 Friday Street, London, EC4M
9JA. Pursuant to AIM Rules 20 and 26, copies of the above documents will be
available on the Company's website, www.prometheus-energy.com.

The Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held on Tuesday, 10th July at
3:00pm, at Jones Day's offices 21 Tudor Street, London EC4Y 0DJ.
