I would hate to loose the positive banter from this group. PiperPeter - who seems to have two alter-ego's - the old PP who sang loud and proud about everything the good ship PPC was doing, and a more recent incarnation (after a decent break) who appears ultra critical and at his wits-end with the PPC progress. He rightly asks today when do we become MEN? From boys to men - always a great transition! |

Posted at 08/9/2022 15:28 by chris cat I believe this is karma for me turning ever so slightly optimistic a few weeks ago when we climbed to 1.4p.I promised myself I'd never buy more PPC or any other AIM stock ever again a year or so ago...I did both and all of my aim shares are now underwater. Some might come back, some might not but there are too many snake oil salesmen in senior positions who specialise in getting enough money out of "the market" to keep themselves in clover for a few years at a time. I did well with PL on IEC, but have since given back almost every penny on PPC and a few others. The anticipation of the those 7am RNS's that could rocket a share up are simply not worth the aggro. PS despite PPC's abysmal performance I do not consider PL a snake oil salesman. I believe that he has tried incredibly hard and backed it with his own cash, but it looks like his faith and judgement were just wrong. |

The ATOM share price more than doubled from sub 60p to above 140p from February to May. The only and only reason of needing a smelly Individual like cartes for support, is that the PPC actions under PL made a cesspool smell like a rose, hence the need for a cartez to support. However If the cesspool is cleaned up with the PL removal being a good start, and all the potential legal issues resolved ,then PPC might actually have a chance even in Paraguay |

Posted at 18/7/2022 19:15 by piperpeter The problem perhaps, Barony, is that you, and many others have conditioned yourselves to believe PPC isn't worth considerably more than the valuation given by the market.This is a profitable company, with multiple assets to its name, which will turn over more than US$45 million this current year. That's well over GBP37 million. And the current market cap is just GBP26 million, which has to include a current market valuation of the Company's holding in ATOM of GBP7.5 million. So, if you deduct the current value to PPC of ATOM (GBP7.5 million) from the current PPC market valuation (GBP26 million), we are left with GBP18.5 million. Exactly half of what PPC will turnover this year! Pp. |
