19/12/2006 10:37 | Hi Illuminatus, Good to see so many different faces here. Its always healthy to see new people on a board adding to the healthy debate. I do hope though we don't get to the point of some of the more popular shares with ramping/deramping all the time. I have been picking a few up again this week. Such a good recovery story still to unfold. Good luck to all new holders! Morwood | morwood
19/12/2006 10:17 | Hello board - lots of different faces here now? 32668 to be precise......just a few more to add today. a Christmas present to myself. | illuminatus
19/12/2006 10:08 | Ooooo, someone has just bought 22k at 57p! Getting close to 60p | morwood
19/12/2006 09:39 | Yes - 60p by the time Santa empties his sack! | eisler
19/12/2006 09:10 | Will break the 60p mark soon :-) | morwood
19/12/2006 09:05 | On the move again and only 5 weeks to the next trading statement 8-) | bigbigdave
15/12/2006 21:44 | 140K look like a sell and the 120K and 2 x 10Ks look like the other side of the trade and buys imo. Well spotted Shanklin. CR | cockneyrebel
15/12/2006 17:02 | Very good of them! I will be buying a slug more next week ;-). The AGM must have went very well judging by the trades today. | morwood
15/12/2006 16:55 | As per the RNS of a moment ago, "It is the Company's intention to issue a further update to trading during the week commencing 22 January 2007." Can't them making this statement unless they know they will be announcing good news. Very nice of the market to make free money available to us... ...hopefully Cheers, Martin | shanklin
15/12/2006 16:39 | Two large trade went through:- 140k @ 51.5p + 120k @ 52p. From their size and price, both must be buys? | morwood
15/12/2006 12:03 | Agreed, The wording is very cautious and rightly so until we have the key Christmas period out of the way. The last thing the directors want to do is over promise and under deliver after the year this share has had. It just adds to my opinion of the new management team. Keeping everything ticking along without over hyping the share. I believe the price will creep slowly up over time as the management and company regain creditability with the City. | morwood
15/12/2006 11:58 | KBC Peel Hunt note says eps for y/e 31 July 07 will be 4.1p and 6.5p for July 2008. Remark about sales above historic levels in annual report 06 -outlook, I believe, referred to average sales per distributor, not total sales-remember PDR has about 200 less distributors at 31 July 06 than it had at 31 Jan 06. | free willy 2
15/12/2006 11:51 | I would have thought that with the past problems they will have guided brokers pretty cautiously in order to be able to make sure they easily meet forecasts and don't disappoint again so I expect those current forecasts are well beatable. CR | cockneyrebel
15/12/2006 11:32 | A trading update was made in January last year so we may get one in Jan 07. The statement today suggests that today's price is about right based on what we know. The only thing I'm curious about is that an in line statement doesn't tie in with sales above historic levels. I'm wondering if they are leaving any ahead type statement until the christmas period is over and they can be more certain of the outcome for the year. | allstar4eva
15/12/2006 11:32 | Do you see "in-line with expectations" a worse result than you predicted? Question to number 2 please Cilla. | mikey_b
15/12/2006 11:01 | Peel Hunt have a note on 11 Dec according to Proquote with an eps forecast of 4.05p this year, 6.5p for 2008. Is this what they refer to? If so the fwd PE is just 8.5. CR | cockneyrebel
15/12/2006 10:44 | There has been no estimates of the EPS released since the business had its problems. | morwood
15/12/2006 08:47 | Echo that, great bit of news. The share price should start to drift up from here! | morwood
15/12/2006 08:44 | great news :o) | cambium
15/12/2006 08:36 | I was tempted to buy some on the back of this morning's statement, but then I see that historically, this traded on a pe of around 10 to 12? In 2003 eps was around 3, then it jumped to the mid teens in 2004 and 2005, along with the price. Anyone know what the eps is expected to be for 2007? | iandippie
15/12/2006 07:30 | Nice statement - whole business in profit now - time for the crowd to move in on these perhaps. CR | cockneyrebel
14/12/2006 17:02 | I would have hoped that a current trading update was given, but as you have said allstar4eva, nothing is certain. What it will do I hope is get some further information out in the public domain. | morwood
14/12/2006 16:46 | Hope so - of course there is no guarantee that any guidance on current trading will be given and even if it isn't a trading update is due in early Jan if they follow the pattern of announcements of last year. | allstar4eva |
