|bostonborn: Yes I agree 31p seems a bit low on future prospects, however the share price hasn't reflected these prospects pre-the-bid anyway, so i'm not complaining.|
It's a solid company, once the full extent of the sub prime problem is revealed. I think in about 3 months time. The share price will rise.|
|infocusint: Techinvest reiterated keep buying.Said Shore Capital is looking for eps of 2.9p this year putting the shares on a pe of not much more than 7. Bearing in mind that Techinvest has been pushing these for over 2 years all the way down from 71p I doubt the recent share price rise from 14.5p has much to do with Techinvest readers.|
|idlejack: I think it's very hard to believe in a company when it's been through the troubles that this one has faced. They have brought in very expensive execs to turn it round that have had no positive effect on the share price, infact it keeps dropping. They don't appear to be able to manage their way out of trouble the only thing they can do is sellout.I still hold a small amount and would like to see the company successful as I still feel it has a good product.|
I read once that 90% of share price movements were random, If that is the case why would PST have anything to say. They will announce their figures when they are ready. What would be the point of them issuing an RNS saying that they knew of no reason for the recent share price movement? I am not in the least frustrated by the lack of news, it probably gave me the buying opprotunity at 17.5p. When did faint heart ever win fair lady?
I reckon the ex Staffware men will want to nurture this one and make the profits grow, and their wealth. Either way is up, but I prefer the latter. The rising share price suggests the figures are going to be ok, and its leaking out.
|holdontight: Seems I might be posting ot myself on this BB, but just in case anyone else is reading, below is response from Matthew White, CFO, to my e-mail about lack of information. Doesn't say a great deal, but he is at least responding....
"Thanks for the e-mail - I cannot get into a conversation about the specifics, but I do sympathise.
I will at least raise the issue at our board meeting on Tuesday to consider if our IR is up to scratch
Any messaging from us to investors will be done in broadcast terms so please don't be disappointed if you find me reluctant to engage in detailed discussion on personal level.

Subject: Re: Investor Relations Share Price Movement
Thanks for your response. I e-mailed Shore Capital at the same time as I e-mailed you, but have not received a reply!
It appears to me that PST need to take a good look at both it's PR Company and it's Nominated Advisor. The PST share price has fallen again today, now down by over 50% in past 3 months or so, which is a terribly poor performance, especially after a funds raising exercise at far higher price. There has been no update since the AGM RNS : why not? If only to inform normal shareholders that trading is/is not in line with expectations. No contract announcements - have there not been any? No update on CAA deal -- is it going ok?
I have been an investor for over 15 years now and overall currently have investments in the hundered's of £000's. My experience of situations like this is (a) bad news is coming but Inst's will know before PI (b) company cares not a jot about normal shareholder.....should I apply the same to PST??
I look forward to your considered and prompt reply, unlike Shore !!

|holdontight: there's been no aannouncement to indicate we should be expecting less than 2.5p EPS this year,,,which makes them CHEAP,,,in fact every reason to anticipate better, maybe 3p...or a PE of 6. Share price of between 30p and 45p seems entirely justified to me, or am I missing sth ??|
|idlejack: Latifs100 I'm holding from a bit higher than you so know how you feel. Shame the share price is in the doldrums. Always thought that this is a good company with some very talented people and nearly bought in 2002. It was a lucky escape that I didn't. I'm still wondering if they are in the clear with the FSA. If they aren't this would explain why with the sells recently it hasn't dropped further, they could be waiting for an announcement then really drop the price.|
