24/7/2008 19:11 | erik, or anyone who went to the AGM - anything to report other than the RNS which seems to fulfil Sven's predictions. So Jensen is more or less fully divested of his interest in PGI - selling to a placee(s) yet to be named. Half the proceeds get paid into PGI's coffers. Half of any unplaced shares are bought in by PGI for £1, the remainder being free for Jensen to sell via the company broker. Given the 5 day window for placing, there must be some likely candidates already in view - NR seems a likely candidate. No price mentioned, but presumably the NOAMD will advise them what is fair. PGI still has its interest in the St P development funds to date. No mention of options to buy into future such funds. So why the steep fall? Conspiracy or genuine market reaction? Will there be an equally sharp rise back to 40p? Qvestions, qvestions - alvays viz ze qvestions! | donaferentes
23/7/2008 10:02 | Looks like you have to pay the Offer (28p) if you want any stock before the EGM tomorrow. | eriktherock
22/7/2008 20:20 | That was some bounce today.Glad my assessment of share price has been totally blown out of the water. My hope is that short term traders aren't going to jump ship once they think they have made a big enough profit.Fortunately the buys seem relatively small. Erik would have liked to have joined you for a beer but alas I'll be in France on the day.Hope AGM goes well. | john148
22/7/2008 16:59 | Anyone thinking about going along on Thursday? I may go but would be persuaded if someone wanted to have a beer after. Sven will be there, unless he turns-up on Wednesday as his article states so often. | eriktherock
22/7/2008 16:02 | excellent url rambutan, many thanks. i'm still here btw - suffering slightly but all the better for reading that pdf. | 64bit
22/7/2008 14:13 | Bid 25p Offer 27p No sellers. Big buy order being filled imo. MM's will keep pushing the bid to tempt some selling. Maybe I'll sell the 20k I bought last week for 21.45p...... | eriktherock
22/7/2008 14:01 | Short term traders all wanting out as quick or longer term buyers, that is the question. | elmfield

22/7/2008 13:25 | yes, strange, having bought in higher why am I not buying more at these prices! anyway hope we get into the 40's again soon, LOL! | elmfield
22/7/2008 13:21 | We should ask Sven to write-up on a few of our other holdings. | eriktherock
22/7/2008 12:44 | Lot's of people are. | eriktherock

22/7/2008 09:20 | Thanks for that rambu. Let's hope Mr Lorenz is more accurate with his projections than his dates. Still, always good to be early for a meeting :-) | eriktherock
21/7/2008 23:50 | tis this, i imagine... | rambutan2
21/7/2008 19:27 | Possible takeover of company by Lonhro??? :0) | john148
21/7/2008 16:39 | 975K shares traded. What is going on? k | eriktherock
21/7/2008 16:09 | 824K shares traded, about 800k more than usual, lol share price static. Still, stopped the rot. The only way is up baby! | eriktherock
21/7/2008 15:03 | Volume 685k all @ mid or above, 21.5p - 22p and PGI's brokers Panmure Gordon are holding the offer @ 22p. The mind boggles. | eriktherock
21/7/2008 14:20 | Looking at the share price drop since CEO resignation you'd think that this profitable, established and expanding Business is all but finished. With Thursday's meeting out of the way, I'd expect a reasonably swift RNS on who the new 10% shareholder is. | eriktherock
21/7/2008 13:55 | Plenty of volume so far today 610k. Bottom in. | eriktherock
20/7/2008 12:28 | hvs.Read carefully.I never said Jensen had resigned from the funds.Yes they will continue but I speculated on whether the same attention will be given to these funds now that Mr Wayne had resigned from the PGI Board.Of course I hope Jensen continues to perform.I am a shareholder in PGI for goodness sake!! | john148
20/7/2008 10:46 | John 148, Who said Jensen has resigned from managing the funds ?? You are spreading misinformation : Jensen Funds will continue to perform as they have in the past, now that Wayne has resigned, | hvs
20/7/2008 09:41 | erik. One cannot live off nuts alone. As for divi, again I hold the view that at best it will be frozen.I hope I'm proved wrong. | john148
20/7/2008 00:24 | erik - none the wiser, but thanks anyway. john148 - well at least it's not just the general state of the market that's brought us down - thank heaven for small mercies! | donaferentes
19/7/2008 18:55 | I'm thankful that for the first time for over a decade (my time as a shareholder) it does yield a dividend. And the pool for distribution to shareholders post ex CEO sale will probably mean an increased divi. Re: Zimbabwe, currently only 6% of the Food Group's turnover is from Mr Mugabe's state. | eriktherock |
