24/1/2009 11:42 | When should/can we expect to have some PGI news/announcements? Any idea? | lcoumetou
24/1/2009 10:29 | What does this have to do with PGI? | bert589
23/1/2009 17:32 | a recent commentary said that if the DOW falls much below 8000 and keeps there, this will have a damaging effect on numerous insurance companies whose assets will fall below the ratios needed to continue operating. | eriktherock
12/1/2009 17:19 | But a few others are still selling. 60k on Friday and 50k today. The Company may decide to buy it's own shares of course and may announce that it will commence a non-discretionary programme to purchase ordinary shares on its behalf . The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. | eriktherock
07/1/2009 20:46 | I,m still BUYING. | hvs
07/1/2009 15:53 | All in the public domain Dona (figures rounded up/down). | eriktherock
07/1/2009 15:47 | where did you see that info? no RNS showing on Selftrade. thanks/. HNY! | donaferentes
07/1/2009 11:31 | £18 million Turnover. £3.6 million Profit (20% on T/O). and a Market Capitalization of just £10 million ? Debt confined to bank overdraft. Silly times. | eriktherock
24/12/2008 10:41 | The volumes traded are very low. Some news would be nice. | bert589
23/12/2008 18:56 | I am puzzled with this one. The share price keep falling without any news. Could someone know something we don't? Anyway at this current level, I can't see the point of selling so I will hold to them as initially planned... Ludo P.S.: Merry Christmas to all the followers :-) | lcoumetou
17/12/2008 13:20 | Now we are down to 8p. No news? | bert589
30/11/2008 16:12 | I is still buying. | hvs
30/11/2008 16:10 | In comparison to Erik's holding, my holding is tiny (ridiculous even) but I still believe that for the long-term, this share is a winner... I cannot imagine that someone would have bought 3.75m shares @ 18.5GBX in a dying company. Would an investor gamble 693k GBP for the glory, I don't think so but I may be completely wrong... Anyway, I expect this stock to remain at its current level or to slightly drop after the current bear rally but expect good news in H1 09. | lcoumetou
25/11/2008 14:50 | Got to be worth getting a few @ 10p. | eriktherock
16/11/2008 21:19 | I'm sure that like us he's feeling out of pocket at moment.I'm pretty relaxed over this stock at the moment. | john148
16/11/2008 16:59 | I'm still holding around 350k (not my best ever investment on paper). Steve Wayne has not been honourable unfortunately and I'd say that this is reflected in the share price | eriktherock
07/11/2008 20:14 | We may find that there is no dividend at end of year but I take the long term view that as with the stock market in general, the share price is likely to recover sooner or later. | john148
07/11/2008 16:12 | erik - I guess it was filled at some stage? Long term - no idea. If it survives as solvent and listed can only get better. It may go broke or himself may de-list forcing sells at today's price. Is my guess IMHO WDIK etc. | donaferentes
07/11/2008 12:36 | No news at all. Zimbabwe has tumbled into further crisis, which cannot be good for PGI's tea plantation in the honde valley. The property group in St Petersburg has nothing to report. Does anybody have a view on the company's long term prospects. | bert589
09/10/2008 15:44 | No-one taking a long term view and following my lead then? Market Cap @ £15m a bit toppy maybe? | eriktherock
09/10/2008 09:09 | We have to remember that PGI are profitable and do actually produce something from their labours. Now a near debt-free Company in much better shape than before the Jensen acquisition and yet with a market Capitalization at half of what it was back then. My Buy order is in @ 12p | eriktherock
08/10/2008 14:29 | It's toes may go up at some point! There is nothing to do but sit on your hands and probably not look at the screen till the nightmare is over. Will it go bankrupt - no. What else can the director's do - probably nothing. So it's just the market showing its collective fear. Meanwhile, we have no idea what it's value may settle at or become (again?) in the future. My "wealth" - i.e. pensions, portfolio, property are all down about 20-25% across the board over the last 6 months - maybe they'll go lower. I don't think any of them are going bust and that's all I can say about them. I am not going bust and do not need to sell anything. I suspect that any good stocks (maybe half of mine qualify!) will rise from the ashes quicker than the long term average growth I was expecting and in a year or two's time this will look more of a sharp narrow V of a chart (1987's Black Monday shows as a very insignificant blip on the line of history from here). On the other hand - maybe the paradigm has shifted and wealth has been permanently destroyed in some respects. We'll all be that much worse off, so we may not notice it when we look at each other. The worst will be we will be all a little closer to those that started with nothing before the crash. Wish I'd switched to cash all round and was earning 5%, but I didn't, so can't cry about it. I can always work for another 5 years to make up the loss! | donaferentes
08/10/2008 14:12 | llp - where is this stock going from here - surely it must go up at some point | bert589 |
