p@: falia- The Issue Price of the Placing Shares and the Open Offer Shares is equivalent to 0.006p per Existing Ordinary Share, which represents a discount of 61.3 per cent. to the closing price of 0.0155p per Existing Ordinary Share on 20 March 2017 (being the latest practicable date before the announcement of the Proposals). And yes you have missed the record date,so you will not be able to get any offer shares. http://uk.advfn.com/stock-market/london/orogen-gold-ORE/share-news/Orogen-Gold-PLC-Proposed-Placing-and-Open-Offer/74140191

leedsu36: "1,2 billion shares traded today" Stop quoting daily trades in the billions. The share price at 0.023p is as small as ant poo. If you really want to know comparatively the volume divide by a factor of 10. 1298 billion becomes 129.8 million. Petro Matad trades at 23p an increased factor of 1000. 3 million were traded on Friday. That is equivalent to 3 billion shares if they were priced at 0.023p. You see the volumes in reality are low to average. Commercial news is what is required....this is a garbage barrel of shyte, nothing ever get's shyte like this off the ground,a dead cat bounce 'might' just occur, but then it will be just that....DEAD.....And all your hard earned down the drain.

marmar80: Hazl. Once they realised they won't be able to handle the project in Serbia, they should have put it on sale. The gold was high, the timing for sale was good. Next step should be getting a stake in a producer that had at the time depressed share price. Instead they diluted all of us delivering the new project to nowhere.

hazl: The troll above resorts to personal remarks as soon as he has no further argument. The rise in share price indicates the rising gold price.

discodave4: hazl,Just some points on your posts over on the OVG board:- you mentioned quite arrogantly IMV that the trouble is that I, like others in OVG, had picked a loser. Yes spot on and ive posted numerous times on here that it was an error on my part, nobody else's fault but mine. So please enlighten me, what was your buy in price here? my guess is about 30% more than the current bid price, so your seeing a paper loss at the moment. News flash, your locked in now and that 30% will get bigger and bigger IMV. Secondly, yes I've picked a loser, have picked other losers as well, but my winners far exceed these and tbh that's all I'm bothered about as that's the name of the game. If I get two-thirds right and a third wrong then I will make some decent money. How is your investment going in QP.?, I see that you thought that some of the numbers were ok - in the last profit warning when the share price tanked c 45%!. You deride some for holding their hands up when making poor investment choices but lack the integrity or guts to admit your failings.- You have posted previously that you made a profit here before although the company has changed "slightly". Was your original investment in Medavinci (medical equipment) circa 2010/11?, well to say it's changed slightly is a vast understatement, from selling medical equipment to pm exploration is quite a change don't you think. Be surprised if anybody had made any money then, the share price has gone from a max of about 11p in 2007 and constantly declined to where it is now, virtually zero.Don't think your worth anymore of my time, you have zero credibility here and elsewhere IMV.DD

discodave4: In three years gold has declined about 1%, ORE share price MINUS 95%.Has the penny dropped yet!, gold price has absolutely nothing to do with the share price of a £2m mk cap gold EXPLORATION company.Jeeeez.DD

discodave4: These large buys aren't the placing shares. That's the point, why would anybody be buying at the full ask if there are 2.3bn shares available at a significant discount and there will be 30% dilution in the share price............errrr insider trading and share price manipulation.DD

discodave4: hazl,ORE isn't affected by the gold price IMV, look at the bull run in gold and the opposite with ORE share price. They have no JORC, they are not mining/producing, they have nothing really that can be valued or that anybody else wants!.Know your more optimistic and I wish you all the luck.DD

davius: It's not a cash offer, it's an all share offer. So technically no, it matters not what the share price of either company is. However, in reality, the ORE shareprice will adjust to the POG shareprice accordingly. The proposed merger terms state ORE shareholders will receive one POG share in exchange for between 15.77 and 17.14 ORE shares. The mid of that range is 16.455, hence the assumption of 1 for 16. POG closed at 469p, so assuming the share price doesn't move (a big assumption) ORE shares are worth 29p in POG shares. However, it is worth remembering that some ORE shareholders may not want POG shares so will either sell into the market or sell their POG shares when they get them. The reverse is true too, the enlarge business may attract new buyers. Whatever, you should now view the value of your ORE shares as 1/16th of the value of POG. You can now technically view this as a POG holding, give or take a couple of pence in the ORE share price anyway. And currently you are correct, anyone buying at 26/27p will not make much, unless the POG share price recovers. The placing was at 450p which should put a floor under the share price, 450p equates to 28p per ORE share. Were POG to recover to say 550p, then that would make ORE shares valued at 34p or so. So don't expect the ORE share price to move significantly in either direction on its own. In the absence of another bidder or abnormal trading through short opening/closing or stake building/reducing, it will most likely track the POG share price closely.
