This is merely speculation but Worldpay rejected takeover to float instead - which must mean they want to acquire and grow and take on Paypal. A listed company is just the vehicle to raise acquisition capital through. Ingenico and Wirecard having both been rejected will want to have something to say about that and may look to go on offensive and take out potential targets before Worldpay can get organised. makes for a very interesting 6 months ahead - could be the perfect time for a bid for opay

Not sure why you guys are getting excited, it should never have retraced as far is it did. A bid is unlikely at the present time, and unwelcome - £5 would be selling this well short of it's potential.
