What will be interesting is the trades in the run up to the close on Monday with the knowledge that we will probably get a 7am RNS on Tuesday with a market update.

I'd be happy with a close of 350p but doubt we'll get that with all the selling pressure. But at least the sales appear to be being soaked up somewhere.

Togglebrush... Large orders will obviously affect price, but timing is unclear because the announcement that the trade has been completed could be a week after the order was placed. The price drop on 29 October followed the RNS relating to an historic Data Breach. That fall was no doubt exacerbated by margin calls and peeps being stopped out. We are mere mushrooms, with little idea of what is actually going on.

High Park ... my point is not price but price swing namely the difference between Day High and Low prices as a percentage of close.

ON 29th Oct the Intra day price opened down 347.75 to 322 possibly because of overnight transaction. It then dived to 279.5 around 9.30... THAT TIME IS IMPORTANT because of a note made by poster on this BB that is was time when brokers started making margin calls.

Price recovered with a high of 324 and close of 304.20. The intra day swing was just under 8% but price swing (hi-lo)/close was 16%.

My contention is that with a volume of over 26 million recorded we have a high value day trader playing in the market. I also contend that this was not his first attack on this shares price.

All the spreadbet/CFD traders stop losses being taken out without mercy. The margin phonecalls start at 9:30am. Be interesting to see what happens after 9:30 and the day traders have changed their nappies.

Fascinating stuff, togglebrush, but I've noticed that Volume is not necessarily related to price. Recently there was huge buying, and price went down. Probably because it can take days to fill a large order. Your mention of 24 Jan 2014 has brought on another graph.

However, the graph shows that turnover was more like 58 mill, most of them sells. 24 Jan was the date the Company placed 44 mill new shares.

IMHO I dont think OPAY is a target at the moment. Too difficult for suitor to figure Skrill out yet, and the share price is currently heading North so not cheap enough. The company is just great anyway and the trajectory suggests 350 close Fri.
