05/10/2016 19:37 | I think agriculture is very much connected to economic growth in africa. The growing middle class will eat more. True half of afica is starving but with inceasing GDP's more will be able to work and pay for food. Cynical as it may sound africa is a developing area and food production initially for export will eventually find a market closer to home. Maybe it will be the next breadbasket if the water situation does not get out of hand? | michaelfenton
05/10/2016 17:10 | Hello zcap Sorry no, I read it on bloomberg. I am sure google/bmi will yield a result? Its actually largely irrelevant to be honest. Agriculture is pretty much unconnected to economic growth imo. | jack jebb

04/10/2016 06:26 | Beeks - you are right. retail was a curve ball and is now out. Agriculture so far has been a curve ball and has produced abolutely nothing. Next set of figures we will see if thet have turned into a fast ball? Forstrey by many was seen as dodgy but looks sound now and ready for further progress. Concentration is the key and they seem to recognise this.Possible share price breakout is interesting? | michaelfenton
03/10/2016 22:14 | I tried to play the results - simple as that.Lets face it, OBT have in the past tried to throw a curve ball in and usually fail with a subsequent price drop! | beeks of arabia

30/9/2016 12:11 | Former management built this asset base and did it successfully. They had the strength to recognise that the next stage should be handed over to new people which has been done. If this is a 30p stock as mentioned earlier, it is as a result of the underlying asset value which the new boys have walked into. lets see what they can do. At present, they cannot take the credit for anything in my view. | 1smartcookie
30/9/2016 11:27 | Dibbs - I agree that the former management was not to be trusted but I prefer to give the upgraded team a fair crock of the whip. Time will tell who is right? | michaelfenton
30/9/2016 10:38 | Archibald, True the share price has doubled so arguably money could have been made. However I now like to invest in companies that I trust and believe in. In this respect OBT does not fit the bill! | dibbs |
