sleveen, if the company was sold today it would be worth more than its current market cap. There is much more in todays rns that is great value. I will let investors work that out themselves.

For a stock that raised cash at a very low price yesterday, with not much going for it according to some. It has held up very well.

The oil price is still quite low, Andrew Bell keeps saying $10 to produce a barrel of oil at SC. its around the $40 mark now, LL was around 42 so 39 for SC oil.

If investors look at the current liabilities v current assets it's plain to see, whichever company is being analysed.

Glib:
I have to admit that I have very little knowledge of this company after only a brief and fleeting glance .
If they have a producing well (Shoats creek well?) that is obviously a positive and indicates that it is not a completely "jam tomorrow" story since so many AIM companies live on hype and investors dreams of quick riches .
No doubt you are aware that many shale oil companies with producing wells live on borrowed time due to negative cash flow and struggle to survive even while pumping oil which sells for less than the operational costs of producing just to service debts and keep the dream alive .
I am not even sure what a notifiable interest for NCT is since the company lists 6,005,002,377 shares outstanding while ADVFN lists 4,748,140,000 shares .
My impression is that the two criteria critical for the company are:
(1) Rate of cash burn and how it can be reduced
2) the availability of finance either by share placing or loans
to sustain NCT as a going concern until revenue income improves

A further risk for investors is that the closed period for sale of the 21% stake by NAP expires this summer with a potential flood of shares coming to market just when NCT has great need to raise more cash by placing .
Sorry to see you caught up in this and hope that you get an opportunity to exit at a tolerable price .

Good luck with getting your money back here. LM and his 'investor' friends have taken private investors for a ride. 1.6-1.8p when he was banging on about it.

Yep agreed online. Think RC has really let investors down, and now he's totally silent.

Bet the new investors who just bought at .09 are also aggrieved now as well.....

The current market turmoil has created a once in a generation opportunity for savvy energy investors.
Whilst the mainstream media prints scare stories of oil prices falling through the floor smart investors are setting up their next winning oil plays.

To give investors an idea where in the world investors are looking in from, here are the top 10 countries in order since the blog was started in March this year. We are even getting the odd onlooker from Burma, Bangladesh, Peru, Kenya and many other non European countries which may be due to investors being away on holiday.

I understand investors concerns with the share price going lower, we all know at some point this will turn. Nothing has changed in the company and we are now at the stage where investors will start to take positions in Northcote as we move forward towards the new frio drill LM#21 and our Mexican bids.

The Corsair guys are quality as they have done this type of government assets researching in Indonesia for many years working with the government. Mexico is no different and I fully expect we will get a look in somewhere along the line.

8 TO 12 assets or possible bids and we must have a decent backer to do that, Investors are excited by MXO, we could have double the amount of MXO. RC and crew are working off percentages and it will be getting mighty interesting holding NCT as the next 6 weeks unfolds.

MP, I am not to bothered short term, it is clear to see all the ducks lining up.

We have cash, another new drill at SC and revenue from the 20. I guess it depends short term or what the short term timeframe is for investors.

Its 7 weeks or less for the remedial plant built and earning if on schedule, personally I think some investors or traders will get caught out before December 15. If that is the date investors in both MXO and NCT are waiting for and selling due to the timeframe.

Those are the ones that may just get caught out as news could come on a number of fronts that could send us soaring. This is a buy and hold.
