I agree but it says something about going concern or controls if left late. No reason these not out by April.

Fair point. However I'm not buying these for last years results, I'm buying them for what I expect in the coming years.

Still waiting for final results. No one likes it when left to last few days. Last year they sent on 11 July. 8 trading days left

Agreed, and best of luck with your top up! My ISA now full so no longer adding, but no change in sentiment from my side.

Added a few at the lows.

This from the 6 June operational update:

"As presented, we are making exceptional progress with targeting new opportunities and reallocating resources to keep pace with this significant near-term demand. We will provide future updates over the next 120 days as we expect first contract awards and work with industry partners to form go-to-market alliances."

I don't think it will be long before there is news to get the share price motoring again.

Also bear in mind that Hadron have been selling for some months so make take the opportunity to let some more go in to strength.Again all part of the cycle, but don't expect a straight line North here.

No problem - my tenuous view is one of a superficial non sector expert and it is certainly not a view about the long term prospects of the company.

Hydrus, I didn't mean to come off as dismissive of your post, I know how smallcaps like this can become polarised in one direction! I'm genuinely interested in your points of view as otherwise things can become a little "tunnel vision".

I can't see a way that NARF generate the income to accellerate progress to a commercial product, I agree and have highlighted this previously. However that's much the same of any minnow and inward investment is almost always needed and here it's a known entity.

The scale and direction of the sector leads me to beleive that either NARF gets snapped up or a partner comes in with a chequebook.

The investor roadshow earlier in the year was obviously delivered to garner knowledge and show the investment support case to IIs. I would hazard a guess that progress is already far down the route on this. We'll know more soon of course.

Best wishes

Aren't all our comments here opinions? I'm not keen on getting drawn into a discussion with company cheerleaders I just wanted to flag what the broker had said about the need for investment. Obviously I don't know whether a placement is actually going to happen nor do I know what level it would be.Interesting company good luck to holders.

On the subject of scaling up...from 1st May 2024.'With development funded by $2.3 million in R&D contract awards from the Defense Advanced Research and Projects Agency ("DARPA") since April 2021, Narf is now accelerating this work for rapid deployment into government and commercial systems.'So there you go...the World is their oyster. If it's good enough for the US Government then I can't think of any better recommendation.

Hydrus, that's your opinion, what is it based on? Knowledge of the industry?

Darktrace bought out at a big premium, GRC today. Why are you feeling that a minnow like this with competitive advantage and IP wouldn't garner a premium placing?

Yes, as commented previously the industry is maturing and consolidating. The bigger players are also seeking competitive advantage.

I don't expect NARF to stay independent for long.

February broker note:'Overall commercialisation of Narf's multiple IP families is at an early stage and will likely require meaningful future investment in additional developer and sales capabilities. 'Not saying it will be an issue to raise capital but the bullish presentation does feel like a prelude to some fund raising which is clearly needed to pursue SAAS development. I would be surprised if institutions paid up at this price spike.

I very much doubt funding will be an issue, or at a discount. Looking at the funding of other entities in the emerging TVM space like WIZ, IIs can't throw money at them fast enough.

Get that homebrew - presumably the investment required though is large and is there a significant chance of a placement. Not sure why this presentation has been released otherwise.

They have competitive advantage in the knowledge space here - 2-3 years worth. Combined with them being embedded in NIST and MITRE and other US govt agencies the opportunities are huge. Not to mention the IP and consulting that can come from this.I've raised similar questions but this area has traditionally been underinvested in by most corps and governments, with the obvious security implications we now seem in the news daily.I've seen a probable 100 fold increase in role advertised in the TVM area in the last 6 months, it's a very difficult area to recruit in and machine learning will take a lot of this pressure away from companies. I think you are way off with your valuation.

Worth looking at the presentation if you haven't already Hydrus. Looks like they are moving more of the revenues into SAAS from the project work in the accelerated model which should be much higher margin and also starting to get commercial SAAS customers.

Quite hard to understand how this business really scales. As they say in their website they are a small group of specialists. I am sure they know what they are doing but this feels like a people business rather than say a SAAS scaleable business. There is talk of some future potential for that in Feb CG note but note also says that's not for now and would require a chunk of investment. Well done to recent holders but I think a lot of the upside is in the price now tbh. Interesting business mind you.
