02/7/2016 18:17 | Ryan Not in NMG, but will yake a look Thanks | euclid5
02/7/2016 12:45 | Euclid, Excellent post, facts are always useful. And nobody has mentioned the fall in sterling v the US$ yet, capex just went up 12%! WRES are'only' looking for $16 million to put their mine into immediate production, yet seem to be struggling, $240 million looks like the north face of the Eiger in comparison. | andy
02/7/2016 12:44 | ryan, Out of interest, who do you think is "bashing"? | andy
02/7/2016 11:42 | Euclid you looked at NMG | ryan83
02/7/2016 11:41 | Not pointed at you lol. Anyway I ain't bothered, I like balanced views btw. The plan is not to go it alone. It's also the headline NOV and CAPEX are for fully scales projects the plan is to slowly scale up with a JV. The japs were very surprised when they lost these licences and done a lot of work on them. Do they want back in? Either way let's see. Lots of AIM companies have capex many multiples of their market valuation let's see if MKA can deliver. See what REM done in large lithium find. MKA are sitting on a very desirable licences area. MKA are looking at new data recently acquired and cashed up for 12-18 months. Gl | ryan83
02/7/2016 11:05 | Am not bashing away just stating facts on this co. in this market raising $245m is no small fry That's £184m they have to raise...sell it up as much as you like but that's a very high amt for any AIM co to raise in today's conditions Just because pi's place a balanced view here, don't subject them to bashing a co down...otherwise I can call you a constant ramper...which you are not really...so get my point? | euclid5
02/7/2016 10:12 | It's easy to find this info out, will let you dig around to find it, if you can be bothered to instead of bashing away lol | ryan83
02/7/2016 10:11 | MKA have one of the lowest capex, highest NPV and highest IRR of all the RES listed companies. Most coma panties are valued at around 5% of their NPV | ryan83
01/7/2016 20:54 | Ryan, $345m NPV but before they get that value they need $245m capex - so expect heavy diluton / or debt / or farm out before they get to that NPV - where many AIM shares never trade at their NPV value including MKA Another very early stage resource co , but granted they have a valuable potential early stage REE mine, that's still in the ground Plus BoD not taking salaries - plus low mkt cap - plus 70m shs in issue - plus AIM funds to last them until 2017 - but find that hard to belive they will not raise further funds later to buy into another early stage asset - hopefully not we shall see what unfolds | euclid5
01/7/2016 19:53 | Ryan, Well that's what I asked you in the first place, how did you work it out to reach the figures you did? | andy
01/7/2016 19:37 | Andy pretty easy, use NPVs and IRR!! | ryan83
01/7/2016 17:39 | AndreaB, Uranium has looked "interesting and undervalued" for years, but rumours of imminent higher prices have always been dashed. The termination of the Russian US stark? treaty was mooted to be the catalyst, but that didn't happen. And now Cigar Lake is in production..... | andy
01/7/2016 17:37 | Ryan, So how did you compare Mkango to the peer group exactly? Surely you would have to know the values of their respective REEs, and compare apples with apples? One REE company has a different composition of REE's to another, and then there are other factors such as jurisdiction and logistics to take into account, as well as cash in the bank etc.etc. | andy
01/7/2016 16:05 | Uranium Prices “Set to Double” on the Back of New Nuclear Renaissance | andrbea
01/7/2016 15:32 | uranium, as a commodity, looks interesting: June 14 2016 Up to 20 percent of the uranium supply needed to operate the world’s existing 437 nuclear reactors for the rest of this year and next is not covered, according to uranium market analyst David Talbot. The market has recognized the pending lithium boom, for instance, as heralded by the electric vehicle (EV), battery storage and powerwall push. But the market is sleeping when it comes to uranium, which has even more obviously bullish fundamentals. That’s why when this sleeping giant awakens suddenly with the start-up of new reactors around the world, it will be with a roar that rewards those savvy enough to sneak around the irrational sentiment. /// Talbot predicts that the Uranium pound price could reach $65 within two years, and notes that some mines will be extremely profitable at this price—particul The Athabasca Basin is precisely where Zadar and NexGen operate, along with other promising contenders, including Cameco Corp. (TSX:CCO) and Denison Mines Corp. (DML:TSX). Last month, billionaire D.E. Shaw let us all know that he’d acquired 1.4 million shares in Cameco, eyeing rising uranium prices, tightening supplies and growing demand—and joining the ranks alongside George Soros. And others have lined up, too, including well-known money managers Ken Griffin, Ray Dalio and Steve Cohen. Then we have Bill Gates—who has jumped on the uranium bandwagon with great determination. Through his TerraPower company, Gates is developing a Fourth Generation nuclear reactor that would run on depleted uranium, rather than enriched uranium. Increasingly, this is shaping up to be the the Year of Uranium, but while the market sleeps, big investors don’t: They’ll be all set when uranium experiences a violent upswing, and those operating around the Athabasca Basin are likely to be among the first to benefit from the upward price trend and shrinking supply. | andrbea
01/7/2016 14:38 | thats what my calculator said lol. Just on a comparison to other listed peers. Look on the MKA preso slides and look at other REE companies! | ryan83
01/7/2016 14:09 | ryan, 14 - 18p? Out of interest, how do you arrive at those figures? | andy
01/7/2016 13:10 | fair value around 14-18p before any news here imo | ryan83
28/6/2016 00:23 | dice, Well he would do, as he is the CEO of a rare earths company! Not exactly a surprise there! Sadly the market doesn't seem to share his 'excitement' | andy
27/6/2016 15:50 | Will Dawes, chief executive officer at Mkango Resources Ltd (LON:MKA) says he is very excited about the Rare Earth sector going forward. 27th June 2016 | dice1950
23/6/2016 09:25 | Johndee 21 Jun'16 - 15:28 - 67 of 69 0 0 You are not intelligent enough to have any discussion with myself. You should know full well what I meant by your not having funds here, obviously MKA, not in the whole market. --- Not sure what you're on, but you seem to be having some difficulties with basic comprehension. "So you are now saying that you hold MKA!!!" And I replied "Where do I state that in my post?" And now you are referring to the whole market, when your post, and my reply, were clearly referring to MKA! And you say "You are not intelligent enough to have any discussion with myself" I'm no sure intelligent is the right word there somehow! | andy |
