Yes, very impressed with this. Miton Group are starting the get some momentum in their business. I'm not sure this is recognised in the share price at present. This asset manager has the capacity to grow AUM to the £10bn mark over the next 5 years or so. If successful, the equity returns are big from here!

Another investment trust mandate today at INV - should be £15-20m of additional assets to start with after the placing.

Quite an impressive annual report and investment fund range brochure arrived today. One does get the feeling that Gervais Williams has started something different here and the AUM will soon follow onwards and upwards, along with more investment managers. Massive upside if he gets it right.

I think Miton have good prospects actually. Results were a tad disappointing on the outflows, but Gervais Williams is doing very well with all the new funds. This group could be much bigger in 5 years. Extra revenue pretty much goes straight down to the bottom line. Taking on the Henderson Fledgling Trust recently was a very nice little coup which is not yet reflected in the numbers - another £80m or so.

I dipped a speculative toe in the water with MGR today on the back of the results, although not without a bit of concern at the outflow of funds from the Liverpool office.

I'd never heard of the company until fairly recently (I guess the name change only occured in January), but I've been seeing the name come up more and more in connection with some of my other shares. I also saw the MD on CNBC recently.

I had to ask ADVFN to sort out the symbol, as I couldn't find the company to add to my Monitor. Seems ok now, so long as you prefix it with LSE:

A nice trading statement to start life off under the new name today. Looks well placed to expand funds under management over the next few years. Solid balance sheet as well.
