MICE Group Plc (the "Company")

Appointment of administrators to the Company and certain of its trading
subsidiaries

Following the announcement by the Company on 5 June 2007, the Board has been
unable in the short time available to reach agreement with its lenders on the
provision of new monies. As a result, the Board has concluded that it has no
option but to place the Company and the following subsidiaries forming part of
the Group's UK manufacturing division into administration:

MICE Limited
MICE Kaymar Limited
Reflections (S&D) Limited
Silver Knight Exhibitions Limited
Ward Design Studio Limited
Artisan Limited
Concept Fabrication Limited
Anglo CIL Limited
LC Visual Marketing Limited
MICE Health & Education Limited
Expocentric Limited
Essanby Limited
Marler Haley Limited

Mark Byers, Malcolm Shierson and Daniel Smith of Grant Thornton have been
appointed joint administrators to the Company. Representatives of Grant Thornton
have also been appointed as administrators to the Group's UK manufacturing
subsidiaries listed above.

The Board confirms that none of the marketing services subsidiaries that make up
the International Division or the North America Division have been placed into
any form of insolvency process.

Any further developments will be notified in due course.

Just noticed this one haven't been following since I got out in late 30's last year as I got bored with the recovery, thank goodness. I rarely go back to the same stock twice, this rule usually serves me well.

Unlucky for those still in though, been there before on other stocks, no the feeling but you have to move on and keep a well balanced portfolio to avoid these types of situations.

Yes, looks very bad.

In the meantime discussions are also ongoing with a number of parties that might be interested in providing additional funding to the Group although these discussions are at an early stage.

Its hard to imagine any such funding that leaves much for existing shareholders (bearing in mind the current market cap is little over £10M).

Sheer management incompetence I'm afraid.

Statement re suspension

The Board of MICE Group Plc ("the Company") announces that following the trading
updates made on 26 April and 14 May 2007, the Company is engaged in ongoing
discussions with its lenders with a view to the lenders making a limited amount
of new money available to the Group. In the meantime discussions are also
ongoing with a number of parties that might be interested in providing
additional funding to the Group although these discussions are at an early
stage. The Board is concerned that the Company would have insufficient funds to
continue trading unless such additional funding from interested parties can be
secured in the short-term. The Board has therefore requested that trading in its
shares be suspended until the Company's financial position can be clarified.

Now perhaps you doubters will believe. This stock is either NIL or 20p.

At a share price of 6p, that seems like really bad odds. At 50:1 or so, it might be worth a punt.
