Southern Gold -- Update on Exploration Activities

Metal Tiger plc (AIM: MTR, ASX: MTR), the AIM and ASX listed investor in natural resource opportunities, is pleased to note that Southern Gold Limited (ASX: SAU) ("Southern Gold") has provided an update on its exploration activities in South Korea.

Southern Gold applied for new exploration licenses over two areas prospective for rare earth element (REE) mineralisation, immediately surrounding South Korea's only known REE deposits, the Chungju REE Project and the Jangnam REE Project. Fieldwork over the project areas will commence in early March with Southern Gold intending to define and drill targets before the end of 2023.

Metal Tiger holds 57,402,696 Southern Gold Shares, representing approximately 19.1% of Southern Gold's issued share capital.
