The unaudited net asset value for Merrill Lynch World Mining Trust plc at close
of business on 10 May 2007 was:

644.68p undiluted
618.48p diluted

I expect they'll be buying in again with the discount at these levels.

disappointing pullback to 561 when base metal stocks recovering strongly , AAL, XTA ,BLT and of course RIO !! markets are hard to figure sometimes !

not sure what you mean? certainly the discount to NAV can vary widely depending on perception in market about base metal prices! the diluted NAV will now be lower although RIO made a strong recovery in OZ today. have a good weekend all.

quite a selloff late in day ! i still reckon that RIO will be taken over sometime this year although there can be smoke without fire !

So another 1m bought in on Friday. They're in Treasury, so presumably the managers hope to be able to resell them at a higher price. ML believe in a commodities super-cycle.

no, i think it is just the perception in market that molst metal prices are on the up again . But perception could change again sometime which makes investment trusts irritating investments as hard to know when !! chart still looking good after the slight pullback . good luck

amazing the way the discount to NAV has narrowed considerably. It was about 65p at one time and now about 35P!!
