Good luck with your rightful grievance.

I can only support you as an ex-shareholder. I am ashamed of the losses that I incurred on this.

I lost faith after the company changed phone number - and appeared to have no subsidiary staff to answer the phone on recent occasions when I rang.
i.e. I got right through ,more than once, straight to a senior director. ( Possibly someone else was on leave or possibly this was a praiseworthy cost-cutting measure) General suggestions, made during these telephone conversations about impending announcements do not seem to have materialised within the timescale suggested.

I rang local Toys R Us and other relevant outlets and I personally could find no evidence that they were stocking the relevant range of toys. Hamleys was one of a number that I tried e-mail searching for toy characters stocked - without apparent success.

My earlier posting showed that I was accessing their distributor/agents sites and could find no sign of important sales.

I have been led to believe that the USA is not necessarily a 'holy grail'. Little seems to be paid for the TV rights. Money appears to be made from merchandising on the back of TV exposure - which itself has little reward.

I believe that sigificant merchandising needs to be achieved in this 60th anniversary year if the venture is to have any on-going momentum.
As I have been unable to find evidence of this I am now concentrating on more successful investments elsewhere.

There does appear to be reasonable grounds of a case against this company and others with the office of fair trading (DTI), Im all for trying. This company is abusing the AIM market and using it as a endless piggy bank creating unaccoutable reckless expenditure without proper financial controls. I for one will be seeking to close it down, as an example how not to run a PLC. I am a shareholder, but this is a total disgrace.

I cut my losses two weeks or so ago. I am now totally out of this.

I could find no evidence of significant Xmas toy sales or of any success at MIPCOM.

Good luck to those still on board.

There seem to be too many Mavericks.

Target have announced sales for Maverick Television products - but none as yet for Maverick Entertainment.

MIPCOM ends tomorrow.

Caution is needed.

Many of us need the price to more than double just to get our money back.

The spread is still wicked. If you need to sell all your holding, as things are, you will lose a big percentage of your investment.

Check out MVK announcements on: www.investegate.co.uk

Placings of many, many millions of shares at .25p, then .2p, then .15p - lower and lower prices have diluted the holdings of those of us that were buying last year and eroded confidence.

to tonco2 and zeppo - firstly thank you for your replies - always appreciated

ok squillions a slight exaggeration...

actually 500,000 @ .225 15th june = £1145.63
and 500,000 @ .15 28th june = £768.75...
average price therefore .19 ( round figures )

reason bought as stated.

but!

i really , really think these are massively undervalued...
and i'm not selling 'til double ( play it by ear of course )

opinions please !! - thanks in advance - good luck to all of us !!

I wish you well with your squillions.

To have bought in June 06 may prove to have been a shrewd move.

What will the Interims tell us?

They were out on the 8th Sept.last year.

Should be out soon.

Looks 14 million sold at .16p - one third less than some of the recent after hours transfers .

This is beginning to look like a one dimensional share - hanging on the fortunes of a two dimensional character, drawn with primitive cross-hatched backdrops.

Private investors are still being crudely stuffed by the mms.

The present trend bears out everything that dellboy says.

blueman - The share price of stocks that are having placing shares parcelled out to PIs by telesalesmen often defy gravity whilst that process is underway, as the salesmen involved will, no doubt, be telling a remarkably positive story to anyone who will listen(much as they have done when selling previous placing stock for this company at much higher levels).

IMHO, the share price only settles once the placing process is over.
IIRC, historically this stock has always fallen to new lows after each placing.

All IMHO, DYOR etc.
