Looks 14 million sold at .16p - one third less than some of the recent after hours transfers .

This is beginning to look like a one dimensional share - hanging on the fortunes of a two dimensional character, drawn with primitive cross-hatched backdrops.

Private investors are still being crudely stuffed by the mms.

The present trend bears out everything that dellboy says.

09:57:18 15-Aug-2006 0.15 2,500,000 3,750.00 Ordinary Trade
09:49:54 15-Aug-2006 0.15 10,000,000 14,700.00 Broker to Broker

________________

So a broker considers 0.15 to be the bottom line?

No comfort to us.

If you try to sell 1m as a private investor you can sometimes be lucky to get 0.1p.

The broker that passed them on must not have believed they were worth a lot in the short term.
If this is going anywhere then it will take twelve months.

If, however, there are more placings - going for consecutively lower amounts as they have done this year - then we are probably looking at zero for the small investor.

Still raising more money because investors are dealing with a bunch of media idiots. Unless we get to grips as shareholders with management accounts this company will be dead in 12 months. I implore every shareholder at the next opportunity to remove the board of directors, and put accountants in charge, otherwise we go bust. Its make your mind up time!!!!!!!!!

Bob, Margaret and another seem to have bought 50k each today.
_____________

Will either Shares or Investors Chronicle review the company this week - after its statement last week?

I stll think it worth holding to see what international deals are done this autumn etc.

MMs killed any chance of liftoff opening odds just too rich for new investors IMO.

Looks like at least any year to get my cash back then.

KO.

Abubryn

You may well be right.

There appear to be more speculators and day traders around than long term investors. A day trader could do well on this today but has not yet become a fashionable share for that. Perhaps you are right about T10s.

I added 300k at .34p

Sorry about the Baggies.

Poor day today for MVK.

What was this share at last November?

Investors Chronicle may or may not pick it on the Interims this week.

I am a retired teacher and have had a children's reader published in 1994, which is still in print. I am developing some character stories currently so I am interested in MVK and other companies that exploit Intellectual Copyright.
I sent some stories to a literary agent this week. She says the whole thing at the younger age group is about the merchandising spin offs. For the older age group Harry Potter has also had massive spin offs to follow massive book sales.

Rovers play on Sunday, interesting v Souness.

Good luck to the Baggies this weekend.

Two buys so far today

I am etting used to the lilting signature tune - even though the 'munching on carrots' syllables almost choke the singer. Don't think the song has the earning power of Bob the B. or Wombles.

You caution is welcomed.

Investors should not be living in Disneyland.

Tonco2

I will be interested in feedback.

I will structure some questions for my grandchildren eg: Which are their two favourite characters. Which are their two least favourite. List three things they liked about it and three things that they did not like about it.

I have only seen yesterday's opening episode.

After only one hearing I am not over impressed with the song. A song can be a tremendous asset to a property like this - or not.
The Wombles had three major hit songs. Postman Pat, Fireman Sam (the original) have great songs. Bob the Builder has a better song than its programmes. Bob the Builder's song is even used in discos.

I thought it was an over rich feast. Too many characters introduced in episode one. The character voices are average. With so many characters getting in on the act voices can get confusing. When the two female characters were talking together (was it the giraffe and the lamb?), could you really differentiate between them?

The lamb's funniest line about brushing her wool for the party was barely intelligible.
Not impressed with the drawing of the lamb - it may hark back to the original puppet, but is that necessary in 2D animation?

Some of the audience for this will be children who are just learning to speak.
A slower pace still allows humour to come through. The humour can come partly from the character differentiation - but you have to be able to pick up what they are saying.

As an investor I hope others have more positive views on this 'flagship' animation for Maverick.

Just got some of the answers from the company.
690 million shares now in issue.

£200K was raised in a two stage placing of 84 million shares.

Interim figures out later this week.

Should be interesting to see comments in the press and possibly Shares magasine and Investors Chronicle in the next few weeks.
