LEISUREPLAY PLC
Renegotiation of Subsidiary Acquisition
Leisureplay Plc (To be renamed CAPLAY PLC - "the Company"), announces that its
wholly owned subsidiary Chartcity Limited ("Chartcity") has today entered into
a Deed of Variation ("Deed") with the administrators of the Front Room Limited
whereby the purchase price for seven licensed premises which it agreed to
acquire in October 2003 has been reduced from £1.5 million to £925,000. Certain
of Chartcity's obligations under the Deed are being guaranteed by the Company.
The premises being acquired are in Portsmouth Windsor and London. The Company
announced on 30th June its intention to dispose of its investment in Chartcity
and is in advanced negotiations for the sale of two of these premises.
