Thanks Dibbs appreciate your comments - clearer picture should emerge as time goes on and in the meantime let's enjoy the ride.
Clancrackan - well done on banking your profit. I sold Wellstream at 630p and thought I'd done well but maybe you have called this one right?

There comes a time when taking a profit in even the best companies is worthwhile . May be it is bit too soon, who knows, but it is in the bank now.

No Trading Statement today then.. maybe Monday?

Someone seems pretty keen today with 50k shares at 600p.

It could be the case that this run in the share price is because of insider buying ahead of a bullish trading statement?? Maybe wishful thinking on my behalf, who knows...

Dibbs,

Interesting post , thanks.

I first bought these in August last year @ 265p , and as you say they have ticked up steadily since . In all that time I have not seen them tipped or commented on . Seems amazing but long may it continue !

I had been waiting for a suitable buying opportunity for a while but finally bought KSK last week at 530p. I like the larger AIM companies looking to transfer to main list and also hold LAM and thinking about CIU.
It's not easy to get a proper feel for these but I get PE 34.6 assuming they do similar in 2nd half. Nobody on this board seems to know what broker is forecating for full year but sky's the limit judging by interim comments.

Dibbs ,

Another nice tick up today .

It does look like just you and I here , though I suspect there are others looking on with quiet satisfaction . As you say quiet is often good BBwise .

Couldn't resist a top up today , been contemplating it for the last week or so . Interestingly could not buy on line at the time ( Hargreaves Lansdown ) and had to phone the brokers . First time I have encountered this with KSK .

par555,

Certainly no private investor hype in this share price at the moment! Sometimes the best BB's are the quietest.

Surprising really that KSK is not a more followed stock in these current market condition. They seem very well positioned to prosper, even if the rest of the world continues to have issues.

Dibbs ,

Agree !

There have really been no pull-back top-up opportunities here . Everyone quietly enjoying the steady upward ride . Long may it continue .

Surprised we have never seen it tipped in any of the usual places - at least not to my knowledge .

Breakout today and no posts! I would not be surprised to see a little surge now into the 600-650p region. Great to see the lovely uptrend on the chart maintained.

Totally agree .

Been following this one for some time myself . Wish I had topped up on the minor rises last week before the take off of last two days .Agree future looks very promosing . Will there be a pull back and top up opportunity I wonder or will there be a lot of demand when the tipsters pick up on the story ?

looks encouraging to me, should provide additional debt and equity elements to speed up the growth plans of KSK. Very impressed by what is going on here

New arrangements with General Electric Company ("GE")
and Board changes

KSK Power Ventur plc (AIM: KSK.L), the power project development company with
interests in multiple power plants across India, today announces that it has
entered into a strategic relationship with GE (NYSE: GE), a diversified business
with extensive global energy sector expertise and headquartered at Fairfield,
Connecticut, USA. GE proposes to participate in the debt and equity of the
Company and its subsidiaries (the 'KSK Group'). As a first step, GE has
purchased the indirect interest of Mr. Hari Kiran Vadlamani ('Kiran') one of the
promoter Directors of KSK, who has decided to resign from the KSK Group. Full
details of the acquisition of this interest are set out below. Additionally, GE
has provided term sheets for debt valued at approximately US$120 million to
certain KSK Group companies.

Kiran has predominantly been involved in the asset management side of the KSK
Group, including the "Small is Beautiful" fund which has invested in various
third party Indian power projects. Kiran has decided to leave KSK and explore
new pastures.

The board of KSK is being strengthened by the appointment of a GE senior
executive with significant global experience in the energy space as an
additional Non-Executive Director. It is anticipated such appointment will be
finalised shortly and full details will be announced at that time. The Company
also anticipates making another announcement in due course on steps to further
strengthen the main board.

The board of KSK anticipates that this association with GE will bring
significant value and opportunity for the Company and its shareholders. GE is a
strong strategic partner, which has both extensive experience and understanding
of the energy space as well as being endowed with deep financial resources to
support the Group's major initiatives.

This new arrangement with GE will build on and complement KSK's existing strong
association and investment joint venture with Lehman, which continues to look at
new opportunities.

K&S Consulting Group Private Limited ('K&S Consulting') held the entire issued
share capital of Sayi Power Energy Limited ('Sayi'). In turn, Sayi holds 100
million ordinary shares in KSK (representing approximately 77.6 per cent of the
issued share capital of KSK).

GE Energy Financial Services, a business unit of GE, has acquired Kiran's entire
interest in the KSK Group through a 25.77 per cent shareholding in Sayi. Kiran
ceases to have any interest in the KSK Group and has resigned as Director from
the constituents of the KSK Group with immediate effect. The remaining 74.23 per
cent shareholding in Sayi will continue to be held by K&S Consulting on behalf
of the remaining two promoter Directors, Kishore and Sastry. Sayi continues to
hold 100 million ordinary shares in KSK.

Commenting on these new initiatives, Padma Bhushan T L Sankar, Chairman of KSK
said:

"Kiran has chosen a new path after many long years of association with KSK. All
of us at KSK thank him for his role in the formative and growth periods of KSK.
We wish him well in his new ventures.

As for GE, we are pleased now to be working closely with such a well-respected
entity and will see them participating at various levels of our business. We
believe it will strengthen our resource and operational areas".

Good volume in recent days too which is encouraging.....has anyone seen any research on this recently? (Decent tip sheet or broker piece would be ideal)

Read through the trading update again, but indian power generation isn't a specialist area of mine....was hoping others might have some wisdom to impart!
