Grindertradre (or anyone): The filter removes unwanted posters, but I still get an email to say the (unwanted) person has posted.
Is there a way to block email advice re sunscribed threads for specific users?
I would expect the 'filter' to also block this email advice by default.

Shares in Global Energy Development (GED: 78p), the Latin America-focused petroleum exploration, development and production company with operations in Colombia, have trended lower to a major support level following results at the end of March. At this depressed valuation the company is being valued at only £27m, or almost half net asset value of £52m.


Nice with oil price rising swiftly


On this basis of reaching parity i would target 170p

ah mountaindog, I am glad you have found me on here. The ADVFN boards are a little more messy to navigate than over at LSE, plus having to find ways to block all the adverts and pop ups are a pain. But ADVFN is my main provider.

I decided now just to concentrate on the shares I am actually invested in, and try not to comment else where unless it is good reason and positive.

Kentz has done me well, and I sold out on the news of the purchase of Kentz by SNC Lavalin Group. the Kentz board has approved each share holder to get 935p per share, around 35% increase pre-announcement.

I sold out at 928p immediately so that I could transfer my funds elsewhere.

think it is a done deal here, and it proves the Naked Trader / Zulu mixed strategy we have employed generally comes good in the long run.

Agreed, good board on the whole. Glad I sold AMEC and PFC but kept KENZ.
I'm probably going boring and putting most of the cash into PNN and RB.

Returned to my 2nd favourite stock TLW (Tullow Oil) as I bought a house cash with the profits I earned from this a couple of years ago.

good to catch you on here. I will have a look at this share and do some research to see if it is worth selling elsewhere and re-investing capital here.
Incidentally, do you play chess?, I always find the "final winning move" difficult, perhaps that is because I spell check "cheque".

Sold. Very happy with this share-stress free, open honest business which put it beyond the Hedgie and City scum traders tentacles, unusual for an LSE stock. Made a package tg. GL to holders if a new offer emerges. imo

We all have our different reasons for selling and we can congratulate ourselves for doing so and receiving this boost.I am not concerned with a few % here or there and was able to re-balance my portfolio with the out come here.Happy days. While lots of people argue over COMS and QPP, we simply and quietly make our money ;)

Depends on your own risk profile. I lost 0.63% of my potential settlement price, including the charges. I jumped into Ricardo, because it was one I had been watching for some time. It rose 1.4% after I bought. Lucky so far.

If another bid emerges for Kentz I will slink off in disgrace ;-/
