13/3/2008 16:41 | Large trades at mid - a bit of stock clearing? CR | cockneyrebel
10/3/2008 12:13 | Placing and expansion of showrooms to Cambridge and Oxford. Not the actions of a company that was finding sales a difficulty imo - more a bullish indicator imo. Directors have had some of the shares, wonder who took the bulk? Must have been convinced it was a good deal in this current credit climate imo. CR | cockneyrebel
08/3/2008 10:15 | Should drop a lot lower from here. | dumbarton2
06/3/2008 22:21 | Agreed CR. I still hold JLH. Best wishes, Martin | shanklin
06/3/2008 20:04 | Unrelated imo Shanks. A cynic might say WTL is run by a bunch of crooks that are trying to take it private on the cheap. They are also mainly sinks andthe bits that go into kitchens rather than the kitchens themselves they theyhave started going down that route. I think Smallbone, Omega and Galiform are far better guides. Galiform would have been up well today if it wasn't for the legal action there. Omega and Smallbone both up well on their results too. CR | cockneyrebel
06/3/2008 19:33 | We'd better not discuss WTL :-) | shanklin
06/3/2008 07:28 | Excellent results from Galiform (formerly MFI kitchens div) today. We are a nation of kitchen lovers! CR | cockneyrebel
05/3/2008 11:20 | Seen OME's results today? "Omega International Group PLC, a leading UK manufacturer of branded kitchen furniture, today announces its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2007............. Revenue grew by 19% to 33.7 million in 2007 (2006: 28.3 million). Increased sales together with improved cost controls allowed gross margin to reach 51% up from 50% in 2006. Similarly operating margins improved to 24% (2006: 22%) whilst net interest income in 2007 allowed pre tax profit to rise to 8.1 million (2006: 6.4 million) representing a margin of over 24% (2006: 23%). Over the last five years, the average annual compound growth rates in revenue, operating profit and pre tax profits were 17%, 30% and 32% respectively. Despite the impact of rising interest rates, energy and material prices, the Group has been able to negate much of this recent pricing pressure by improving terms through both re-sourcing and by generating incremental business. We have announced price increases of 5% on our brands. Sheraton increases will take effect from 1 April 2008, whilst Omega and Chippendale prices will increase from 1 June 2008. Our competitors' prices were raised much earlier and in many instances by a higher percentage, positioning our brands attractively within the market." CR | cockneyrebel
28/2/2008 07:45 | Smallbone, cracking results, business strong, 'no slowing in Jan and Feb' Must bode well here. CR | cockneyrebel
20/2/2008 16:02 | Ready for as big drop soon. | dumbarton2
14/2/2008 14:34 | Well done that person, beat me to it! | bigbigdave
14/2/2008 14:27 | I know who just bought that 100K that someone sold at 2p today :-) Reckon he's had a result @ 2.4p CR | cockneyrebel
14/2/2008 13:29 | Looks like the co intoduced some interesting share options at the AGM Lord C. Looks like Rosby and Hill-Baldwin are being well incentivised here. Some lunatic was determineds to sell 100K in this dire market it seems - he's wacke dthe price but I reckon he's gonna regret it come May - all my enquiries suggest things are on the front hob and bubbling nicely :-) Still, might make a nice topping up opportunity at this level - altho the loonies like to buy high and sell low it seems :-) I never went to the AGM - not my sort of thing really - I'm happy with whatI glean elsewhere. CR | cockneyrebel
14/2/2008 11:12 | LOL what a dog. | dumbarton2
11/2/2008 11:12 | Anyone going to the AGM tomorrow? Unfortunately I cannot make it but would like to hear what is said. LC | lord c.
07/2/2008 10:35 | Next leg down soon. | dumbarton2
06/2/2008 17:32 | Ain't me selling, honest Guv 8-) | bigbigdave
06/2/2008 15:46 | Cr is desperately ramping on the other thread. lol | dumbarton2
06/2/2008 13:35 | These will be the steal of the year at some point imo. Rosby, ex MFI is doing a cracking job. Some melon-head decides he's going to sell into weakness and hit's the stock. About half a million quid wiped ff the market cap because someone wanted to sell £2.5K worth lol. These will be bought up ahead of the May results imo. CR | cockneyrebel |
