28/1/2013 09:06 | Given I've had them for a few months, I am sure I can carry on holding till 4.30!! | mark knopfler
28/1/2013 08:50 | Some of the investments are what I would call high risk, so exponential value realisation is possible. I personally think the old business model failed because they couldn't raise extra money for additional investments/their current investments. Holding shares today at 4.30pm allows you to be part of that value realisation in the future, as well as being part of the new Plutus investment company. | howdlep
28/1/2013 08:34 | I understand that, but it takes a big leap of faith to assume that one or more stocks in their portfolio may have exponential value. There wasnt a large queue of people wanting to take it on. But I hope you're right. Frankly, what I hold here is not significant for me and my expectations are lower than an anorexic worm flattened by a steamroller. | mark knopfler
28/1/2013 08:28 | Mark, After today you will not be able to buy them at all. Its all a question of one or more investments in the current portfolio having value realised. Hence the current indicative book value. In due course, one or more of the investments, detailed in this thread header, will, hopefully, multiply n fold. After today, if you are not a holder at 4.30pm, you will not have any investment in those new IPSO Management Shares. So in your scenario, your shares would be valued at 0 if purchased after today. You would just have the new Plutus shares. | howdlep
28/1/2013 08:08 | Say the book value of my portfolio was £10, but they were currently valued at £3. Would you buy them off me at £4 ? | mark knopfler
28/1/2013 08:05 | at 1.35p market cap is 0.5m Book value of current IPS shares, to be converted to IPSO Management shares, currently is £1.5m then we have the new Plutus Resources shares, granted to holders at close of play today. A great risk/reward opportunity here imo | howdlep
28/1/2013 07:53 | the shareguru, None of the 3% holders will be selling today as they will all want to maintain their interest in IPSO management shares re the current IPS portfolio. That is why they invested in the first place. This is why, imo, the IPS shares are today a win/win investment | howdlep
28/1/2013 07:45 | mally6, Its quite simple. Shareholders will be granted IPSO Management shares (based on a 1 for 1) based on their holdings in IPS at close of business today. Anyone buying shares in IPS after today will only have their holdings converted to the new company Plutus. This means you would not have any interest in the current IPS portfolio, which management currently value at a book price of £1.5m. So the bottom line is you have to hold IPS shares at 4.30pm today to qualify for BOTH IPSO Management shares AND Plutus Resources shares. I am expecting a quick break of 2p this morning. | howdlep
26/1/2013 16:11 | Howdlep Be carefull once ips reaches around 2.5p some of the over 3% shareholders will Be selling if they dont we could all be on to a winner, also watch brady. | theshareguru
25/1/2013 15:21 | howdlep how would this open offer work just a bit confused.thx | mally6
25/1/2013 15:11 | premium paid on the last two buys | howdlep
25/1/2013 12:41 | yep I am expecting a break of 2p by the close today, plus a further rise on Monday morning. It will then be very interesting to see what happens in the last half of an hour on Monday afternoon | howdlep
25/1/2013 12:35 | this is set to rocket would not be suprised to see 2p by close | anslow
25/1/2013 12:31 | It will be close of business on the 28th, so I take that to be 4.30pm on 28/1. That being the case, there will be buying today and on Monday, with a few swings along the way. However, to be absolutely certain, I think I would be buying today! | howdlep
25/1/2013 11:14 | howdlep, can you clarify if you have to be a shareholder by close of play today or close of play 28th? I believe you have to be a shareholder at one minute past midnight on 28/1 to qualify so need to buy today. Therefore expect fireworks before close today? | parvez
25/1/2013 11:07 | Would be nice if that aussie oil shale company was being lined up for a reverse in. estimated 300bln barrels of reserve...... Linc or something similar. | fur
25/1/2013 11:05 | Thanks for the reply, have been wondering on how it works | sweepie2
25/1/2013 11:01 | sweepie2, You will not be able to trade those shares, but you will retain your interest. The BOD will realise value in them, via the sale of one or more of the portfolio holdings. However, you have to be a holder of IPSO shares at the close of business on 28/1. The new investment company shares will be traded via Plutus. So you get an interest in both shares, with cash in Plutus via the completed fundraising and no debt. | howdlep
25/1/2013 10:47 | After 1/2/13 how do you trade IPSO Management as new company called Plutus Resources PLR take over listing. Sorry if its already been answered Thanks for any reply | sweepie2
25/1/2013 10:46 | market cap 0.5m at 1.6p. Book value for IPSO Management shares 1.5m. Add in fundraising and no debt and you have an excellent risk/reward opportunity here imo | howdlep
25/1/2013 10:41 | people beginning to realise the opportunity here. A break above 2p coming up shortly imo | howdlep
25/1/2013 10:40 | 18/1 In addition to the fundraising, "following Completion of the Proposals and the waiver of the GBP5 million debt referred to above, IPSO Management will own the IPSO Investment Portfolio (which had a book value of circa GBP1.5 million as at 30(th) April 2012) and have no debt." | howdlep
25/1/2013 10:39 | at 1.35p the market cap was only 0.4m and the book value of the IPSO management shares alone was 1.5m. Now you ar getting a new business for nothing with a fundraising | howdlep |
