Isn't it 3% has to be disclosed then any disclosable stake that changes the percentage whole number (say 4.2% to 5% or down to 3.9%)

Raysor, all I was saying was that I expectd to see an RNS regarding this volume of shares, im not sure what the reporting thresholds for reducing and increasing holdings of this size

I reckon it is 4m shares, not 8m. There are matching deals for the same number of shares at the same price. I reckon someone placed 4m shares through an intermediary, who arranged matched bargains for a commission.

over priced imo. recent growth wasnt very strong. Any hint of trouble and this will drop to 200 in a heartbeat.

Wdf 8m shares sold in post market auction? I took out a spreadbet long today but am now quite worried about my position given this dumping of stock into the market. Am I missing something?

Interesting price action earlier as we hit 290 - but only for a short moment. I'm back to fully invested here having topped up at 258 last week so let the rise continue!

EMC Avamar from iomart helps International Greetings Protect Data

International Greetings PLC, one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of gift packaging and greetings, stationary and creative play products, relies on EMC Avamar from iomart to protect its business data.

The company, which also produces the iconic Tom Smith crackers that are part of the British Royal Family’s Christmas, chose Avamar because of the ability to store data with different retention periods. Sensitive financial data for example can be stored for much longer than other data.

Avamar only stores unique daily changes while maintaining daily full backups for immediate, single-step restore and only sends back changed blocks reducing network traffic. This minimises both backup windows and bandwidth requirements.

Mike Harris, Group IT Manager for International Greetings, explains, “We store some of the data that we can’t afford to lose, such as sensitive financial documents, for up to 26 weeks. For other data, where we only need a short retention period, we’ll just store it for a month.”

As well as cloud backup, iomart provides International Greetings with storage archiving and content filtering for the company’s business laptops.

Mike Harris continues, “The backup of our data is hugely important to us and is a subject that is discussed at board level.”

Given they rejected 300p + offers 18 months ago it's a tad disappointing that they can't get the price over that. Hopefully one of the bigger shareholders will be asking some pointed questions as to what is going on. Seems to have lost all momentum since last week...

Pye, The selling at the moment would appear to be a combination of profit taking and general nervousness after a good run. The fundamentals for investing still remain so I would imagine within the next few days anyone who wanted out will be gone leaving an attractive entry point for the next leg up. As for a 'driver' how about the realisation of a good company with excellent future growth and profits, that was good enough for me.
