That's ok, I'm not planning on letting all this settle, the market should therefore value this 5% higher than closing price (also some end of trade buys too) and sell out. Still could be other offers made now they offically placed money on the table.If you allow yourself to hold the sainsbury share etc I think it'll be worth a lot less for a few years Sp best to sell out if have the chance

got to be worth a speculative short here:

SBRY keep the offer - no real loss.

SBRY pull out - HOME could fall up to 25-30%

Disappointing. They left it right up and until the end to pull out too. Would expect Sainsbury's to maintain their initial offer

Makes the special divi interesting in theory it should go to shareholders on the register the day before the home base announcement if sainsburys pull out I assume that will happen it might even if sainsburys takeover Argos
