I'm happy to hold on a 6% yield and a discount.

Surely it would be better if they sold all the assets and returned the money to the shareholders.

Anyone thought that it would be much cheaper for parties setting up up a REIT fund to take over Highcroft even at full NAV rather than waste money on additional fees?

Mostly the Kingerlee family members, who have been involved for a long time. There is also a large rebel holder (The Conn family), who have been adding and trying to get change.

Likewise. Do you know anything about the company? Who the directors are etc.

Yes, good results. Bought a few more a while back. This is one that I'm comfortable to hold for the next decade or so, and with a 6.5% yield it's not like we are losing out!!

Decent results today, dividend good and NAV should still be creeping up since
31/12/09.

Is it likely the the motion will be passed? If the conn collective vote no again, the conversion may not happen and what will the board do then. It looks like they need to talk to their shareholders. It seems strange that not everybody thinks converting to a REIT is a good idea.

Call- Logger do you not anything about this comapny other than the published figures?

LOL

Why other than size would they have been unique? The profit on the shares would be taxed in the normal way. Do you know why the conn party rejected the move to a REIT?

Result of EGM

"........Having previously encouraged the proposed conversion to a REIT Mr DG and MB Conn and Associates holding in aggregate approximately 18 per cent of the voting rights have voted against the resolution............"

Looks like they've conned the shareholders............lol!

Shame really as they would've been a unique REIT holding property and shares tax efficiently.
