Now convincingly above the high it reached three years ago (not counting the short-lived spike in May). I've had HPI in my portfolio for five years, joined a couple of years ago by SST. It's interesting to compare the performance of the two...

To 31st January 6 months net asset value increased by 10.2%, sterling weakness helped along with strong gains in Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan. Ungeared and well discounted against asset values.

LSE:HPI Henderson Far East Income Trust : In the first 6 months of 2009 net asset value grew by 24.9% meeting the Trust's objective of a high rate of return operating primarilly in the Pacific Region excluding Japan & Australasia, with a portfolio of 40 to 60 holdings. Outperforming the benchmark by 10.9 percentage points. The company continues to perform strongly.

Errr are you on the right Board ?. This is LSE:HPI Henderson TR Pacific Investment Trust Board. This can be seen from the "News Announcements" by ADVFN giving the asset values of the Investment Trust's shares. So it is not the "House Price Index Board" for Nationwide or anyone else !. So Sorry. Better to post your property "analysis" where people can find it, rather than on a stock market board.
