29/1/2006 22:57 | Holdontight - HIF looking very good. VLR - should move nicely as the chart has formed a good foundation. The company has 6 patents pending approval The directors have been buying last month. The government is looking at alternative energies so VLR is well placed. Tipped in share magazine last week to go to 80p. | johnma
29/1/2006 22:54 | GGG Central China Goldfields - tip of 2006 Currently trading at 7.75p - Has interest in a number of licenses accross central china - Experienced Management team who have strong exposure in this region - China fastest growing market in the world. - Gold price at 25 year high and predicated to go higher. - Strong balance sheet with cash available for new acquistions. - The stock is well held by non sellers (large institutions) - Domestic demand within China for gold is growing. All the above should ensure GGG has a good year my prediction for 2006 is a target price of 24p | johnma

28/1/2006 01:10 | W/E 27/01/06: No exciting news at all this week.... 1. AVM: no change on the week at 141p 2. PGD: down a penny to 18.75p 3. LND: up from 12.75p to 15.75p....no news 4. HIF: up from 6.25p to 9.125p....no news 5. MCR: up a penny to 58.25p 6. TAG: up 6.25p to 61.25p.....no news 7. EKA: no change at 106p 8. TMG: no change at 17p 9. LEAD: no change at 51p 10. ADA: no change at 112.5p LGB remain suspended | holdontight
25/1/2006 14:25 | Update... FIO and BDI both sold, but remain on watch list. ADA holding increased. TAG holding increased. MCR, Mercator Gold, bought. EKA, Eureka Mining, bought. HIF, Hidefield, bought. I have moved therefore invested now in 3 companies spun off from Brancote (PGD, LND, HIF)when it was sold to Meridien Gold. These companies invested in exploration opportunities in 2000, when price of gold was supressed and in many cases the cost was therefore far lower. I like the management teams and whilst gold might yet pull back, these people have already demonstrated their ability to profit in a gold bear market, which is worst case scenario. Just one winner from all the combined prospects they have will more than pay for the combined investment cost. ADA : love the potential of this company; great market and so long as BLZ keep their hands off, could do very well. TAG : my oil play and again I like the management team. | holdontight
