04/2/2008 07:31 | Nice trading update this morning "The Company performed strongly during 2007 and the growth seen in the first half continued in the second half of the year. Turnover for the year is expected to be approximately 50 million (2006: 35.2 million), an increase of 42%, and earnings will be in line with market expectations. This reflects strong organic growth in the Company's core businesses... ... The principal driver for our business continues to be growing government regulation of waste collection, management and recycling. This trend is unlikely to be seriously affected by any downturn in the global economy and we look forward to exploiting the exciting opportunities that this presents for the Company." | gac100

14/5/2007 09:15 | AXS - Accsys The next Tanfield environmental success story. The Group are an enviromental science and technology group involved in the development of a process which converts softwoods and non-durable hardwoods into an environmentally compatible 'new wood species'. Branded 'Accoya', the new wood has performance attributes similar to tropical hardwoods. Accsys operates through two business units - Titan Wood and International Chemical Company. The Group employ wood acetylation, a process which attaches additional 'acetyl' molecules to wood to increase its durability; and high temperature cracking, whereby lower-value, heavier molecular structures are broken down into higher value, shorter molecules. 17/4/2007 20:13 | they actually said because of the heavy investment and a divi will be paid later in the year. | biggcl
17/4/2007 18:56 | if we look at the accounts the controlling directors paid themselves a 2006 half year divi that was in excess of the whole of the 2005 divi. then they have the temerity to say that no divi will be paid for the full 2006 year because the shareholders are new !! a typical cypriot way to run a kebab shop !! not a plc | bigboyo

23/1/2007 16:28 | For a first trading update since becoming a listed PLC I think this is very positive one. The company is situated in a growing market that is very much driven be government regulations. With climate change now becoming an issue in the Public's conscience, helped in part by the Al Gore film 'An Inconvenient Truth'I think the future looks bright for this waste container and waste management firm. Drop in the cost of oil I think should also help it Trading update for the financial year ending 31 December 2006, in summary is as follows: - Strong performance across its business and all its geographic areas. - Turnover and profit after tax for the year are expected to be Euro35 million and Euro4.0 million respectively. This represents a 39% year-on-year increase in turnover and a 25% year-on-year increase in earnings. - Raised Euro17 million (#11.6 million) before expenses and was admitted to AIM in November 2006.....I think we all knew that!!!!!:-) - Substantial capital investment programme of approx Euro60 million in the period 2006 to 2009 is progressing on schedule and budget. - Completed construction of the tyre-recycling facility the existing Komotini during December. - Product sales remain strong with stable margins despite an unexpected increase in HDPE prices, Helesi's main raw material cost. However, looking forward, the Company expects a gradual easing of the historically high HDPE price levels. - Large contracts, which will account for around 50% of product sales provide significant visibility to 2007 revenues. - In December 2006, Helesi completed the acquisition of PYP ATEBE a waste management services company for Euro3.5 million (included in the investment programme). In the year to 31 December 2006, PYP ATEBE generated revenues of Euro3.3 million, producing net income of Euro0.75 million. - The acquisition of PYP ATEBE is an integral part of Helesi's strategy to secure a leading position in waste management services in south east Europe, as the sector is increasingly privatised. Revenues in 2007 for this division are expected to be around Euro4.5 million of which over 60 per cent. has already been secured at an attractive margin. | johnsoho
