I think todays tick up is designed to attract sellers, trades are normally only delayed by one hour and I've been keeping an eye on it for longer than that. When the recap. occurs this will look like a tidy company with excellent growth opportunities.Yes its been boring, but its time is close now.

Nice to see a wee bit of volume but impossible to really tell if the main transaction through today was a buy or sell? I have it down as a sell. Will watch tomorrow with some interest.

Been in Lanzarote last week but read an article in Daily Mail suggesting that Luminar was a possible takeover target for a venture capital group. This raises an interesting possibility i.e. that Thomas would then devote more time ( and possibly some money ) to take the new Food and Drink Group to a much higher level, I don't know wether Mr T. has other interests in this sector but, hold on to your hats if he begins to take the notion that he can repeat his previous success. My instinct tells me that HJBs will be a nationally recognised brand within 5 years.

I've been in "The" in chelmsford. Always packed at the weekend - must be profit there. Also I liked the position of Jamies around the city. Most of my friends who work inthe city drink like fish. Must be profit there too!! Basic analysis I know but add that to what you know about the co and the luminar connection and i can see the tills buzzing. Profit soon?

This company is definatly a progresive company increasing there outlets and putting themselves on the map.
Progressing in a way that they are not streching themselves, and when they revalue the shares they should rocket.

I think there'll be more news when the proposals are ratified (presumably) at the next agm.AND possibly before that with regard to HJBs.The last report states that they hope to have news of new franchises/operated sites in the near future.I think they may be rolling out HJBs in a big way (fingers crossed)

No Johndee, you will get 10000 divided by 136 which is 76 new shares. The price will multiply by 136, so at todays midprice you will have 76 shares at £1.77p.In a nutshell, the consolidation should not affect your total value.I am hoping that the whole excercise will be beneficial, its a bit mickey mouse having over 500million shares for such a small company, for example,if they did pay a dividend of say 2% (which is low ) they would currently declare it as 0.026 of a penny,as a new company they'd be able to say 3.5p so you know where you are instantly.I think the numbers will make a lot more sense after consolidation. If you dont need to sell DONT ( just my opinion ).

What about someone who has only 10,000 shares....will they be consolidated out?

If it gets to 2p the consolidation would give a price of £2.72p for the new F&D group.I think where it goes from there would depend on how fast the acceleration of HJB outlets will be.There's bags of potential for the new group but they would have to increase debt to achieve major growth. They're doing a good job ( messrs Kowsun and Thomas ) but I'm not sure they're not a bit over careful.Being a northerner I look forward to some encroachment beyond Watford. If the stats are correct, its still only hovering around its NAV. but I think with continued good stewardship it'll make me a bob or two ( eee bah gum )

Nice rise over the last week. Any thoughts on share price between now and the AGM. Look what happened to Urbium after there consolidation share price has increased by 5 times.......

I think the upcoming number crunch is probably holding it back a bit BUT after the crunch I expect the new company to pay a dividend ( say by the end of the first full year )

Daily Mail page 111......80% of readers will take it as a cautious tip.Nice to see some press on HAR.However there appear to be a couple of anomalies. Forty four outlets ? ( I dont think so unless its franchises included )"The Pharmacy folded and Hartford sank to penny share status." ( it was penny share long before that ) Still, I'm quite fond of "Peel Hunt expects debt to fall fast and says the earnings potential justifies a share price closer to 2p " ( yes I definately agree ) Looking forward to Monday......

I think the sells are in fact buys because they are delayed by 1 hour. ie the price an hour ago was closer to the offer price but advfn system robotically plants it as a sell cos its closer to the current bid price.

Nice set of results and upbeat about future outlook. Still some way to go. As a long term holder since 4p it's a long way back!!!
