GFF could have been a great stock but for the directors strategy of giving away good assets to one another... Too many times I read of an investee company where GFF has transferred their holdings to one direcotr or the other...
These guys are only looking after their pockets chaps...

the RNS bulletins have explained the trades, i think, and it seems positive as 3 insiders have upped their stakes
however, the purchases were at the BID price, so not surprising the mms dropped the offer
and it seems to have worked like a shake, intentional or not, and dislodged 38,695 shares from some poor sod

looking back through the posts, some are a bit worrying re. opinions about some of the top people, i guess this must increase perceived risk whether real or imaginary

with the excellent results i wonder if the company will do more to publicise their success otherwise it will remain an unknown and the share price will languish at current levels

There will either need to be some broker forcasts or news from the company. Plenty of upside but hard to predict when. Given the spread, it's better to wait than buy in and out...

this is a very very quiet thread

anyone have any views on when we could see some upside given the fantastic results, and what might prompt the move given there has been little action so far?

absolutely fabulous results - should rise well on the back of those

any views on what average p/e is for this sector?

No chance. 12p within 6 months is very possible however.

True! Very nice rise so far. Actually I agree with a price around 12p. Present p/e is roughly 7.5 which assumes no growth at all next year. If they can grow eps by 50% which is not such a tall order for a tiny company, then 12p should be easily reached within a week. Some broker forcasts would help........

This is a small company with very good results. I reckon the share price will be at 12p very soon.

Rumour on Orientrose BB (ORT) about possible RTO at 10p. Will be great news for GFF holders. And GFF will still receive fees for the introduction!

There has been a battle for control at Griffin, and it is clear that S Dean has won the day. It hard to think of a bigger sell signal.

Given Stephen Dean's track record at Artisan and Cater Barnard, Maclean has probably decided GFF is not to his liking - wise man!
