Market seems to like the news, doubling of the dividend and a boardroom shuffle.

Yesterday's revision plan looks prudent to me , they pulled the divi and buyback but it makes sense to protect the cash pile etc . I will be back in at some point .

My pension fund is 50% invested in GPK - 55% now. The only share I have never sold. What a nice Xmas present to us all.

We have broken the $20 barrier, so imv $30 ahead (see 1151) and to be honest when you think that their Colombia acreage has increased minimum 17 fold, plus all the other bits, that looks conservative: sail on as loafingchard might say and for thegg too, cant remember how many christmases we have been through with GPRK. Have a good one GPRK ol'timers and hopefully further progress in the NY and the first divi payout!!

There are a lot of disgruntled posters on the AMER BB.
At least GPK know what they are buying.
I doubt that there will be any geological surprises forthcoming.
I think the pipeline to Equador was a significant attraction.
Loads of capacity and creates valuable redundancy in transportation.

Maybe the yanks noticed PXT & put 2&2 together? PXT have other Colombian licences where GPK isn't involved, but PXT more likely to pop up on the radar, given its m/cap, than GPK? Not much reaction from GPK yesterday when they announced the Tigana update.

PS Not getting too excited, we've only cracked £6!

Expanding the international portfolio is the operational part of the business. There is also an element ensuring this information reaches the investor community, particularly institutional investors. This stock is basically a capital growth stock with very little prospect of a dividend in the near future and I have to say that the capital growth is not showing over a five year period. The management cannot keep on blaming the markets in which they operate. NYSE is the largest market in the world and they should make the effort to take advantage of this and soon.

So it is adieu to GPK on the AIM!

Thanks Woody. It is natural for any 'boring' conventional stock to take time to be established in any market unlike the 'Twitters' of this world. However, GPK report regularly on their operational activity (next update in April I think) so it will not be long before investors realise the potential and future growth prospects of a company that has good cash flow, an experienced proven management and a workable realistic business plan.

I am a shareholder but reconsidering my position. Attending various Proactive meetings junior resource companies are often asked - What is the exit strategy?
GPK's answer seems to be transfer to New York. I see no prospect of a dividend or exit. Hopefully strong holders can put the positive case.
