19/12/2007 14:19 | goldie40 - 22 Oct'07 - 14:37 - 135 of 142 I hope they do for all shareholders sakes, but history shows a tad like YOO, they acquire a business, then when it does not work, they acquire another and go on and on.. Its that simple. They have been unable to deliver anything substantial to date, so yes lets hope one day they do something decent, however 3p is very very optimistic... They'd need to be making some decent profit. | powwow
28/11/2007 19:09 | Surely the purchase of the machines would be treated as fixed asset additions on the balance sheet, with only depreciation going to expenses. | wiganer
28/11/2007 08:56 | wiganer costs were purchase of the machines and legal expense cocerning gaming bd | goldie40

27/11/2007 19:37 | Why have the already staggeringly high level of admin costs soared? | wiganer
27/11/2007 18:31 | agree with res 1606 the takings from the reel winner was only part as they were put out in small numbers over the last 6 months now paid for and in profit. roll out continus of the pub lotteries machines at a steady rate month by month increasing the profit, this time next year machines could be near the 1000 mark wth big profits and high cash flow expect to see this share to go higher and higher as the machines keep rolling out on sites the only way here for the share price is north as main number of shares tightly held | goldie40
27/11/2007 08:54 | Staggeringly bad results. | wiganer
26/11/2007 21:54 | Reel Winner 50 machines to be extended. Pub trials now going to 120 machines including betting offices. Capital constraint the key issue. Would be surprised if we didn;t see some action here sooner rather than later, surely? | res1606
22/10/2007 15:37 | have to disagree with powwow agree they were useless in the past but have now got the right people in place with the new gaming law in place from sept the 1st allowing lottery venders in pubs bigo halls and betting shops with the machines going out and the trials going well as the statment says the future is good just getting old dirty water out of the sink I thinks the share price will be 3p+ by this time next year | goldie40
22/10/2007 14:26 | seriously, I have seen this company over the years do the same time and time again. The management buy a company, take what they can from it, then the share price rises and they say know no reason, then they buy a company and do the same again. They have done this time and time again since 1999. I wouldn't ever buy any stock in this unprofessional company. The management are just spongers. | powwow
22/10/2007 08:05 | ursamajorra - 15 Oct'07 - 15:56 - 128 of 132 edit FAO eegus, We really do seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut here. I know you cannot disclose price sensitive info on a bb,but can you just reassure someone who purchased stock at 4p+ that there is even the slightest prospect that we may climb to the giddy heights of circa 4p again one day??? Or,god forbid, are we going to flatline for years to come? Your response is appreciated. now i know why i got no reply. another one for the bin. | ursamajorra
22/10/2007 07:08 | Gamingking PLC 22 October 2007 Gamingking Plc Trading Statement Gamingking announces the following trading statement. As with many other leisure businesses the company's sales have been affected by the smoking ban, which was introduced on 1st July. First quarter sales to 31 July 2007 were slightly ahead of the prior year. However, August and September sales saw a reduction of some 9%,compared to the same months in 2006, which it is believed is a result of fewer members visiting the clubs. The first two weeks of October show a return to the sales figures of last year and indications are that the Group will achieve a similar sales revenue as the first half of 2006 if this early October trend continues. Overhead spend for the five months to 30 September 2007 was ahead of last year due to expenditure on new projects, and continuing operational costs associated with the Playprint acquisition in March this year. Accordingly the board expects that at current sales levels, the results for the six months to 31 October 2007 will show a loss in excess of that reported in the first six months ended 31 October 2006. In addition, the combination of reduced sales levels and the recent postal strike have combined to weaken the company's cash position in comparison to the figure reported at the last year end. In the company's annual report it was stated that a consolidation programme was to be completed during the 2007/08 financial year, rationalising many of the operations into one facility in the North East. The assembly process for lottery terminals is now located at the Hainault facility, offering significant cost and operational improvements and the rationalisation programme is now being extended to review the current level of overheads. The Directors believe that this would be cost neutral in 2007/08 and offer cost savings in 2008/09. Since 1st September, when the new Gaming legislation came into force, the company has been trialing a number of pull-tab vending machines in public houses. The results to date have been encouraging and more information will be made available in due course. | hotfinance14 |
