07/4/2016 12:12 | 'The Company plans to use the net proceeds from the Revised Placing in the same manner as previously indicated; to continue expansion of real-money Regulated Gaming and Simulated Gaming(TM) opportunities in the US and for working capital and general business development purposes.'rn RNS Just noticed! | hazl
06/4/2016 23:07 | 'Although Smurfit’s riches pale in comparison to Adelson’s $30 billion empire, should additional states move to legalize Internet betting, his company stands to make considerable profits.' 'GAN’s Smurfit remains optimistic about the company’s future, largely due to the prospect of additional states in the US legalizing online gambling in the coming months. Though the market has expanded more slowly than expected, the thought of mega states Pennsylvania, New York, and California considering iGaming is reason enough for positivity, he asserts. “The rapid growth in Simulated Gaming revenues is particularly important as we believe over time they will substantially compensate for the slower than expected pace of the development of real money Internet gaming in the US,” Smurfit projected. To oversee the real money growth in the states, Smurfit uprooted his family and relocated from the United Kingdom to the gambling kingdom of the world, Las Vegas.' From casino.org | hazl
04/4/2016 20:52 | Yes, I understand why you said that but the stock market is about the future not the past so if the outlook is a lot better, which I think it will be you may be surprised. It is difficult to know in this climate but I have seen firms with very good results drop like a stone when there are hints that things might not be so rosy in the future. I am hoping the reverse might happen here. Regardless, the eps for 2016 according to the broker forecasts is a great improvement on 2015 and I think things look much more upbeat. This is an interesting investment to tuck away I believe. These Smurfits know what they are doing. I feel lucky that I have been able to purchase it at such a low;it's time for it to reverse perhaps? IMO | hazl

31/3/2016 10:23 | Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN commented: "Virtual reality has finally arrived and GAN is first-to-market in the US with a VR casino experience delivered to Empire City Casino in New York. Designed to engage, captivate and compel incremental time-on-device and revenue from patrons, GAN's VR add-on module for Simulated Gaming is anticipated to attract the 30-54year old male gaming enthusiast, likely to be among the early adopters of PC VR.' | hazl
31/3/2016 09:44 | 'In the middle of 2013 no one in the U.S. market had heard of Simulated Gaming™. A new creation of GAN, Simulated Gaming™ was designed to combine the best of online real money gaming technologies with the best of social - providing world-leading casino operations with a secure, data-centric, and engaging vehicle for engaging online. Today, many of GANs' partners generate over a billion dollars in revenues per year. How did GAN take a product that didn't exist three years ago and become one of the most prominent players in the social gaming space? We spoke with a few of our partners about their own journeys from 2013 to today in moving online. 'Prior to the second half of 2015, there was reluctance on the part of larger casinos to get involved in social gaming, often citing reasons like waiting for real money gaming legislation and the unknown value that social could bring to their operation. Pennsylvania's online gaming draft legislation was seen as a potential catalyst to galvanising many other states to take steps to also legalise. Throughout the course of 2015, regulatory stagnation set in while another product line continued to skyrocket in value: social gaming. Operators finally looked up and saw that in the absence of real money gambling, billions were being made online- and being captured primarily by slot machine suppliers who'd moved their products online. Simulated Gaming™ provided operators with a chance to finally enter the all-important online space, increase revenue and casino traffic and put in place the necessary infrastructure to one day be able to seamlessly switch to a real money gaming system. 31/3/2016 09:16 | This new development does look very interesting. VR is going to be massive. | someuwin
31/3/2016 09:11 | Had a look at their website yesterday and from what I gather the legal requirements in different states to 'real' money gambling is very relevant to future earnings? I think there is a very lucrative market out there and they know it but I guess its what form it takes and when? Interesting company. What are long-termers views? Thoughts welcome. IMO | hazl
31/3/2016 09:02 | AH NEWS! Couldn't get to the computer till now. Progress .....great name....Smurfit IMO | hazl
