Online casino games developer GameAccount Network has secured an agreement to distribute games from Greentube Interactive Entertainment Solutions to its operator partners in Europe.

Greentube, the online gaming subsidiary of Austrian gaming giant Novomatic, becomes the latest company to integrate its products on to the GameAccount platform, following in the footsteps of IGT, Bally Technologies, Aristocrat and SG Gaming among others.

"We are delighted to have been able to conclude this agreement with GameAccount Network and look forward to providing their ever growing global customer base with our most popular high performing range of slot content," said Novomatic's chief technology officer Thomas Graf.

GameAccount CEO Dermot Smurfit added that Novomatic was a "hugely important addition" to the company's portfolio and that it was an "honour to be able to work alongside an organisation widely regarded as a pioneer in the international gaming industry."

"Novomatic is one of the giants of the gaming industry renowned for its track record in producing many of the most enduringly popular international slot games and is a trendsetter in the research and development of creative and innovative gaming equipment for regulated markets," he said.

Shares in GameAccount Network plc (Co. Data) (AIM:GAME) are trading up 1.39 per cent to 109.50 pence per share in London this morning following the announcement.

Nice deal announced today with the €3.2 billion turnover Novomatic. Here's brief broker comment:

"Announces new games distribution deal in Europe
DAVY VIEW

This deal expands the range of products already offered on the GameAccount Network to European customers, effectively allowing Novomatic to plug its content into GameAccount's distribution channel. In return, GameAccount receives a small revenue share.

GameAccount Network has concluded an agreement with Novomatic Group's i-Gaming solutions provider, Greentube Interactive Entertainment Solutions, to distribute its market games to GameAccount Network's operator partners in Europe. This agreement follows similar agreements struck with other land-based gaming brands such as IGT, Bally, Aristocrat and SG Gaming."

Online gaming sites boost Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun

By MICHAEL MELIA

Associated PressMay 31, 2014

HARTFORD, Conn. - At the online version of the Foxwoods Resort Casino, customers can play nearly every game and buy credits that build up reward points for merchandise and hotel stays at the real property. One thing they cannot do, at least for now, is wager money.

Foxwoods and its local rival, Mohegan Sun, the two biggest tribal-owned casinos in the United States, each have launched websites in case Internet gambling is legalized at the federal level or in their home state of Connecticut.

While prospects for changes to the law remain uncertain, the casinos have found the sites offer value as marketing tools for the giant resorts, sources of market data through user registrations and, at least in the case of Foxwoods, revenue through credit purchases.

"What we're finding is that it's actually a useful tool for building a database, getting our brand out there and connecting people to the property," said Rodney Butler, chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, which owns and operates FoFoxwoods launched its "online casino" in January, through a partnership with GameAccount Network, and Butler said about 50,000 users have set up accounts. Users can buy credits to play longer or gain access to exclusive games. The credits add to reward points for use at stores, hotels and restaurants at Foxwoods.

Mohegan Sun teamed with Bally Technologies to begin offering an online poker site more than a year ago. It doesn't sell credits for money, but users can compete for hotel stays and gift vouchers. Chuck Bunnell, a spokesman for the Mohegan Tribe, said there is strong interest in the site and it has helped measure who likes to play and when.

The two tribes, who claim exclusive rights to casino-style gambling in Connecticut, say they want to be ready for Internet gaming.

Online gambling is legal in only three states - Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware - and similar legislation has been proposed in several other states. The federal government cracked down on online gambling in 2011 but said later that year that it's legal as long as it's permitted by the state.

Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman aren't interested in pursuing Internet gambling, said Juliet Manalan, a spokeswoman for Wyman.

Bunnell said the tribe has talked with lawmakers about changing the law, mainly at the federal level but also in Connecticut. He said Internet gambling is already taking place without regulations.

"If indeed the government wants to regulate it and offer it to appropriate people, we're ready and able to do that," Bunnell said.

Keith Whyte, executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling, said the absence of regulations for online gaming places a huge responsibility on the growing amount of operators to protect customers. Butler said the Foxwoods site has technology that addresses concerns including age verification and where customers are playing.

Hi - when GAME DIGITAL launches its IPO, does anybody know what will happen to the shares owned by the old GAME shareholders prior to the company going into administration? Are they effectively worthless or will they be re-activated under the new 'company name'? I've asked my Broker and they have no clue.

cheers.

GE2 Asia May 20 - 22

GameAccount Network plc ("GameAccount Network" or the "Company), the internet gaming pioneer will be taking its success story to Asia when it makes its first appearance at May's G2E event in Macau. The Company will be using its' first appearance at the show to introduce its enterprise-level B2B gaming software and online gaming content to what is a key regional market.

Commercial Director Daniel Lindsay stated: "We are making our first appearance at G2E Asia after a highly successful showing at ICE in February where we met with a significant number of operators from the region who were interested to learn more about the GameAccount Network success story. They were particularly interested in our partnership with Foxwoods Resort Casino with whom we launched the first ever Simulated Gaming online casino experience in the United States. Asia offers massive potential and we look forward to extending the GameAccount Network footprint into this important market."

Betfair/GameAccount grow New Jersey revenues by 82% in April

DAVY VIEW
While this is just one month's data, Betfair – and by extension GameAcount – will be very encouraged by the market share gains made in April. Considering that the market only regulated in December and that Betfair is building its brand from scratch in the state, a market share of 8.1% signals good progress to date. Overall market size remains hampered by geo-location and payment processing issues but we believe that these will be resolved in due course. That will be important as other states are closely observing the market before potentially moving to regulate online gaming in their own states.

Key points from the April data release
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement last night released online gaming market data for April. The following were the key points:

Market growth
The overall market generated gross gaming revenue of $11.4m during April. The market was broadly flat month-on-month on a daily revenue basis (-0.6% to be precise). However, there was a clear distinction between poker and casino growth, with casino's share continuing to rise. Poker daily revenues were down 16.6% month-on-month while casino daily revenues increased 5.4% month-on-month. Poker now accounts for just 22.7% of revenues, versus 27% in March, with casino's share rising to 77.3%, up from 73% in March.

Market shares
Borgata, operated by Bwin.party, continues to lead the market with 36% market share, down slightly from the 37% share registered in March. Caesars Interactive, operated by 888, experienced the biggest loss in market share in April, falling to 26.7%, from 31.3% in March. It remains the second-largest operator by share. Tropicana's, a casino-only operator, grew its share from 16% to 18.8% in the month.

Betfair and GameAccount will be very encouraged by the progress made in the last month. Betfair grew revenues by 82% month-on-month in April. As a result, its market share almost doubled, from 4.3% in March to 8.1%. We believe that this reflects Betfair's marketing investment strategy which involved waiting a few months while poker operators tried to dominate the early days of the market. When one considers that Betfair is building its brand from scratch while others are using well-established brands, one gets a sense of the progress that has been made since the opening up of the market at the end of November.

In the coming months, we would expect minimal market growth as warmer weather leads to less players going online. However, market shares will continue to be keenly observed to see whether the casino-only operators continue to win market share from the poker/casino operators.
