18/11/2016 13:16 | As a shareholder you are entitled to have a good moan, guns. I've had a few moans myself, including one of two directly by email to the management. Good question - where is the sale of one or more of our assets? Hopefully our CEO is bargaining hard for a decent price.:-) | doodlebug4
18/11/2016 12:52 | I certainly will be holding on doodlebug4 even if share price hits 5p. Won't stop me having a good moan though.unless, this has a silly spike Then I would be a fool not to sell part of my holding. Where is the sale of one or more of our assets??? | gunsofmyown
18/11/2016 12:03 | Good to see long term holders here still patiently waiting for news and sounding positive. | doodlebug4
18/11/2016 08:41 | Very likely 888. Well we are up boys and girls and let this be the beginning to the return to realistic value here. | flashheart
18/11/2016 07:52 | Perhaps Bryan Smiths resignation is due to the possibility that as a 75 year old who has been involved with Dattels mining companies, he has little to offer in the areas that FFWD invests in. | 888icb
18/11/2016 07:47 | I would like the company to say they have an extremely bright future and to have valuations to prove it. | popples
17/11/2016 22:50 | Good comments flash. Now the negative posts are arriving to disrupt our quiet thread, I have a feeling great news may be due soon. Extremely bright future...bring it on.!! | moormoney
17/11/2016 21:24 | This has gradually been 'moving away' from the original set up of Dattels and Mellon and towards that of a Lorne Abony embryo (no bad thing) although all three still have a significant input. When we eventually get some figures to apply to the 'carcass' I think we will be pleasantly amazed by the likes of particularly Yooya and Leap Gaming which are experiencing explosive growth in their respective fields. Expect disposals in a couple of the original Mellon investments which are likely to show significant upside also. As everyone else I have no idea regards of this resignation which could be for any number of reasons and not worth worrying over. That's now history for a company that has an extremely bright future. | flashheart
17/11/2016 20:49 | Bryan Smith is an old retainer of Dattels and Mellon. He has been involved with most of their companies over the last 10 years at least to my knowledge.I don't know why he has resigned. | 888icb
17/11/2016 20:46 | Look at the management, Lorne Abony in particular. Look at the investee companies. Look at why you invested in the first place. Nothing has fundamentally changed. Purely bored PI's who had built up a reasonable position jumping around from stock to stock because of a lack of news. Results are due very soon which could accompany further info on the progress of the investee companies including a previously hinted at disposal. Yes it's not pretty at the moment but foolish to be selling at a low. When news hits, and assuming it's good, all those punters selling down over the last month will no doubt scramble to re-acquire their stock sending this up quite sharply. | flashheart
17/11/2016 20:42 | Sorry for missing letters it's my phone | myszka21
17/11/2016 20:40 | I all those sales are sales we would have been at leat 10 %today imho | myszka21

17/11/2016 16:58 | I could moderate or ban him as another option, flash. Several posters on ADVFN trying to stir it up today - it gives them their kicks I suppose. This will bounce back and when it does it will bounce back quickly. | doodlebug4

17/11/2016 13:00 | Perhaps Bryan Smith has resigned because of ill health namkrad. So you don't think articles relating to Bitcoin are relevant to this thread? | doodlebug4
17/11/2016 12:34 | I see no need to spam about bitcoin here. What does resignation of Bryan Smith mean? | namkrad
17/11/2016 12:30 | You are right doodlebug4.I have been investing long enough to know that venting my frustration on here isn't going to make a blind bit of difference to the share price, but I have never been in a share that goes down so much on such little volume. Maybe I should buy a cat to kick instead ha | gunsofmyown
17/11/2016 12:26 | Why paste links about Blockchain or Bitcoin? Possibly because of FFWD's investments in Factom and Satoshipay. | doodlebug4
17/11/2016 12:07 | "Silicon Valley is Earthquake Country. Fittingly, it’s also the epicenter of technological change. As new technologies build tension in the existing order, the fault line eventually slips, and shock waves reverberate through the worlds of business, government and society. The latest rumblings beneath the dry Silicon Valley soil portend a tectonic shift that will cause massive disruption in all of these worlds. It’s called Blockchain, the technology behind Bitcoin." | doodlebug4 |
