I didn't receive my payment until monday afternoon from Halifax.
Halifax stated in the morning that they had not received the payment from FTS, so I sent them an email.
I had a reply back from Alon Raz the Chief Financial Officer, who stated that the funds were all sent out on the friday and there may be a small delay on the bank transfer that goes to different brokers. But it should have been payed at the latest on the monday.

Oilbager, hate to say it but they are in my view telling you a lie.

They did the same last year, I would now demand your cash it it yours.!!

I wonder why they are called Selftrade.

Could it be because they are more concerned about earning interest on your dividend and looking after themselves, rather than their customers?

Well that's crazy - I had mine at 11 am on the day of the payment. The account I used to buy FTS was The Share Centre. They are second to none for customer service, crediting dividends and withdrawing and paying in funds.

I reckon some of you guys are being taken for mugs by Selftrade.

OB - I have also had problems with Selftrade in the past with these type of payments. Perhaps they hold on to earn interest on our money...who knows.

My cousin used to work for a large company in the States who processed the salaries for the large multinational companies and they basically made all their money from the interest they earned on the monies received from their clients they were due to pay out in salaries each month. Obviously this involved huge amounts of money compared to my dividend due here:)

I'm not too bothered as I like the Selftrade service in every other way (and you hear horror stories about many of the other execution only services) although I have noticed their system has been slower over the last week or so when trying to get quotes online.

Got this reply from Selftrade

"I can confirm that the FTS have not yet credited our nominee with the dividend funds as yet. Our Custodians are chasing payment via the company and registrars on a daily basis therefore we should hopefully be able to credit your account shortly."

Wonder if they are playing games to hold on to the funds longer

Selftrade took weeks to pay out the divi last year .


They told pork pies that the divi cheque [to them] was lost.

They are a waste of time.!!!

You will need to chase them 3 times a day for weeks.

When you get it ask for £200 compo.!!

Oilbagger - I bought a few of these with Selftrade and in the same boat.

There again they have credited my account yesterday with an extra 300k so not complaining:)

(one of my suggestions for 2011....NBI..(equipt. hiring, electrical load banks and hiring equipt. to oil drilling cos) ..doing nicely...and about to hopefully break resisitance/last max. level....(looks like persistant buying over last 10 days steadily forcing the price up....something cooking I think, (ah the British stock market !)
of any interest to you ?


(good chance they may get some new work by renting/selling electrical load banks to oil drilling cos. to test their generators I think....just a guess, I know nothing about oil drilling !)
