31/10/2005 11:31 | * An independent valuation of Eurogold's assets was commissioned as part of the Oxus transaction. A copy of that report will be released when it is completed which is anticipated to be within the next 7 days. Eurogold is confident that the report will support the Eurogold asset value as outlined in the proposed Oxus transaction. worth a punt at these levels? | 0238jr
31/10/2005 08:48 | It maybe that Oxus didnt like the Hungarian legal action. | cezary
31/10/2005 08:48 | I thought I'd start a new thread, eliminating the OXUS connection. Lets not forget this is a company producing Gold/Silver with no Hedge in place. | cezary
28/10/2005 10:23 | I wonder which part Oxus didnt like:- 1. Satisfactory Completion of Due Diligence. 2. Valuation of Assets. 3. Finalisation of Legal documentation. 4. Receipt of Regulatory and governmental approvals. 5. Approval of Eurogold shareholders. | cezary
28/10/2005 10:14 | yes, but was the price a fixed number of shares, or £17m at the time of execution. the rns suggests the number of shares was not fixed. | 0238jr
28/10/2005 10:07 | 0238jr.. your wrong. it was a done deal at a fixed price. | cezary
27/10/2005 10:14 | cez- not sure that they would have had to issue all those shares- see post on oxs thread. | 0238jr
27/10/2005 09:39 | I dont think it was about the assets, rather the share price of Oxus which is in the ascendancy and the fact that they would have to issue I think 30,000,000 Oxus shares to EUG at 46p. | cezary
27/10/2005 08:52 | Cezary, Agree that the fall is way overdone. On balance, terse statements are probably better than coming out with a list of reasons which could lead to a slanging match that demeans both parties. This would be a pity because I don't think this is a story about negatives. At this stage of OXS's development with a challenging programme of mine openings, EUG would have to offer something really special to justify the diversion of management time, effort and funding. That, after much consideration, it was judged not to offer this, does not mean that its assets aren't any good. Far from it - I expect others to be very interested given the locations and resources. | pecker1
27/10/2005 08:37 | tee man.... I agree with you. However, EUG is a company that is producing Gold without any hedge and is not worthy of the drop in the share price by the market. Hopefully, should see the share price recover back to where it was before the deal. | cezary
26/10/2005 22:15 | Oxus to the point of rudeness, I think I have to agree. | tee man
26/10/2005 16:01 | suspension of trading in EUG! Not quite sure what pre-open means but can't get a quote online anymore | tee man
26/10/2005 09:50 | Grief, thats some drop. all the best , holders. H. | hectorp
26/10/2005 07:37 | Or maybe not Phillis Oxus today announces that its board has decided not to proceed with the proposed acquisition of Eurogold Limited's gold assets in Romania and Ukraine. | tee man
18/10/2005 15:15 | Buy EUG sell OXS | phillis
18/10/2005 09:06 | Another 1 million bought today by Phoenix | cezary
17/10/2005 08:41 | interesting that 'Phoenix Gold Fund' has increased its holdings to 8,095,715 shares. Thats an easy 1million easy Oxus shares it will pick up. | cezary
07/10/2005 10:17 | It appears that it will remain as a shell company. I thought it might be worth hanging onto them in case the listing gets used for some interesting new play. Nothing to lose really once the OXS share distribution has occured. The guy in charge is quite a character by all accounts. | chipperfrd
07/10/2005 10:05 | I have been tracking EUG on the ASX over last few weeks and it seems EUG is still actively been traded there!! | cezary
14/7/2005 22:45 | Apart from the distribution of OXS shares to EUG shareholders thats the end for EuroGold or is it?? | cezary
14/7/2005 08:40 | Yes, OXS have bought all your assets in Romania and Ukraine, subject to completion of D.D. ( not the liabilities however). Glad I didn't buy EUG stock, only holding OXS paper. | hectorp
14/7/2005 07:41 | Well it has happened!!!!..... Eurogold Limited ("Eurogold") is pleased to announce that it has agreed terms for the sale of its gold assets in Romania and Ukraine to Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus"), the UK gold mining group with existing gold production and exploration assets in Central Asia | cezary |
