Phoenix - bless u, the latest 'company' statement:

'...The Company also announces that it continues to be in discussion with a third party in order to develop a proposal for the consideration
of shareholders as regards the Company's future which it is expected will include securing a capital injection with a view to enable the
Company to carry on trading.'

Well who do u think the 'Third-Party' really is...? Sounds very 'promising' doesn't it, but when the third-party decides not to go, as it never intended to anyway, its curtains. The only 'injection' will be if some other sucker can be persuaded to put in a sizeable chunk, then, as before, the year on year on year on year results will limp on with losses, the vast majority of which is really 'directorial/administrative fees'. Then the share price will 'trade' but with no chance of ever, any year EVER of making a profit. These schemes are rosy aspirations sold to mug investors who hand over money and buy shares. The 'idea' is to keep the 'company' going as long as possible providing income-stream to the 'directors'. NEVER has any of them
produced anything but a thumping annual loss (you check the records, MMTV a typical example amongst many others. Sorry). :-(

Environmental Recycling Technologies plc

UK joint venture licensee for PIM established

Environmental Recycling Technologies plc (AIM: ENRT), the patent rights holder of the Powder Impression Moulding ("PIM") process, is pleased to announce that it has signed heads of terms with Metallis Recycling Limited ("MRL") an international metals recycler, to incorporate a joint venture company to which it intends to grant an exclusive licence for the manufacture and sale of PIM flat sheet for the UK market. ERT's PIM process converts mixed waste plastics into commercially viable products.

The joint venture will initially be owned 50% by MRL and 50% by ERT. ERT will grant the joint venture an exclusive UK licence to manufacture and sell PIM flat sheet in exchange for a knowledge transfer and licence fee of GBP1million. MRL will grant the joint venture an exclusive UK licence for the use of its proprietary technology in the field of plastics processing, for a knowledge transfer and licence fee of GBP1million. These licence fees will be paid in instalments as the joint venture company begins operation. MRL will fund the joint venture by way of a loan of up to GBP1million whilst seeking additional investors to fund the expansion of the facility.

ERT will also receive royalty payments on each PIM product manufactured and sold by the joint venture company.

Commenting on the announcements, Lee Clayton, Managing Director of ERT, said: "We are delighted to have established a joint venture with Metallis Recycling Limited to reintroduce flat sheet PIM board to the UK market. We have been looking for a partner who could take on the manufacture and supply of this sought after product and have actively decided upon a closer participation with our new flagship UK manufacturer so that we can contribute more actively to the business. We have spent the last year building a relationship with Mettalis Recycling and have carefully constructed a business plan that benefits our shareholders and our new partner. This announcement is in line with our business plan, which lays out ERT's focus to continue to form strong strategic cooperation with like-minded companies"

Commenting on the announcements, Tom Bird, Managing Director of MRL, said: "We are very excited about entering into this partnership with Environmental Recycling Technologies. This is the first major step for Mettalis with regard to our forward strategy of moving to diversify our business into innovative recycling solutions. This joint venture will complement another bespoke initiative which will see Mettalis at the forefront of metals and plastics recycling"

I would say it's just the MM's reacting to orders rather than any direct worries of dilution. Now that the Oxford Capital holding has been split among their investors, I wonder if they would be deemed to be acting in concert if they took up any offer? If so the rules of breaching the 30% threshold would still apply

Phoenixs,

Okay, let's leave it there. I'll keep watching from the wings and I hope that all honest investors are rewarded for their patience. Best of luck.

sandy foundation,
I disagree with your comment "belated attempt ....."

For years ERT have been running around with PIM technology and incapable of making it commercial as a result of some idiotic decisions, poor, weak and misguided management. Promise after promise and nothing but disaster after disaster.
At the AGM last year, the first at which Lee Clayton was present but not as CEO, he said that ERT had a great IP but that in itself was not good enough. He set out his views on what needed to be done.
The first was the necessity for him to know and fully understand what it was that made PIM technology unique. This he has said that he has now done.
The second was to have an operation in which the raw material going into the process was guaranteed by a supplier.
Thirdly, the machinery to make the product was readily available from a totally reliable source.
Fourthly, the whole process of licensing needed to be project managed whether by ERT or by a third party depending on the size of the project in hand.
The end result would in essence be a turnkey operation in which any prospective customer/licensee would be able to have the whole operation presented to them rather than themselves having to put it all together.

The RNS if yesterday accomplishes for the first part. That in itself is a big step forward but not enough yet to convince investors which I do not find surprising. ERT have a tremendous task ahead to convince investors that they are on the rise, but this is a first and very important first step.

XB6,

Could you explain why this deal (Axion will basically continue to do what they were already doing) might make ENRT a"...possible stonking recovery play..."?

What it suggests to me (apart from a belated attempt to prop-up the shareprice which fell after ENRT withheld for several days the news about 2K) is that the 3DM process is more heavily dependant upon the QUALITY of the feedstock than we were led to believe.

What happened to those tiles filled with used nappies & dirty needles, Ken?!? One of the process's selling-points was its ability to accept mixed, low-grade CHEAP rubbish.

Maybe I'm wrong. But past experience would make me highly cautious about this "news". Good luck to all honest investors.

Investors in this should be able to feel the cool air of the Grim Reaper's breath on their neck here imo - if you can't you must be wearing a cravat.

So are the investors.

Mirandaj,

I merely posted this information so that others could make up their own minds.

There is a link on their solicitors' website (Bird & Bird) to the full judgement. I don't believe ENRT chose to publicise this information, but I may be wrong.

Wary of your past readiness to delete/ban anyone who dares question the official line, I'll leave it at that. But your statement that "ERT... what they release by RNS has to be accurate" has me sorely tempted. Maybe a 'Premium Subscriber' might want to draw you up on this one?

Back to the wings. Good luck to all honest investors.
