RE: Twitter Baron addingToday 17:36yeah he's definitely up with the best on twitter to follow, if not the best. Called SQZ at 5p... now over 120p... RPT at 5... now 40p, Evraz at 60p ... now £6, FXPO at 37p now £2.65, loads of amazing winners. He doesn't put in a couple of quid either, apparently worth millions. He often shows screens shots of his holdings too to show prove there's no BS. He gets them wrong like everyone also but overall would say he's hard to match especially in oil, base metals. Him buying here will get loads interested. Got myself some too just on the bell ! GLA

A nice strong move up on Brent and WTI at this very moment. If that is sustained overnight, I can't see this not moving further up tomorrow. I'm sometimes flip on BB's but on a serious note, I wouldn't get carried away with 'immediacy' based on the CEO buys. For me, it underlines his faith in the company (maybe encouraging for Hub and holders and for in and out fast buck merchants, simultaneously discouraging for those holding shorts: this might give a squeeze to the upside, maybe that's started this alvo), but it almost certainly means there are no imminent news announcements coming for ENQ. That means that share price will be driven by emotion/FOLO and spot POO.
I will trade my positions according to these beliefs and not according to my very own 'to infinity and beyond' mantra, that is, in fact, me gently poking fun at the 'golden ticket' brigade.

Dear all.

Talk on LSE of Baron the legendary day trader (actually i'd never heard of him!) having taken a decent position on ENQ and of his army of followers following suit.

I've copied some of the Tweets -

Nothing major but a slight average up on short term #ENQ. 300,000 shares added. Surprised #JKX has opened down given Zelenskiy's lead in the presidential elections. His close ties with JKXs largest shareholder would be seen as a very favourable outcome. Also think provisions!

Looking great in theory. WTI bang up underneath its 200sMA and looking bullish for the moment. US500 on the up, CEO buying shares like he's a booking a holiday at Billy Butlin's (Book early or you won't get a place).

More Brexit shenanigans on the horizon this evening so at least for UK markets tomorrow could be interesting. Hedge funds betting against banks. I'm long banks, long gold, long oil. Bit nervous as we are not in a raging phase of a bull market. Depending on how you want to look at it, you could argue we could be a topping phase. That often comes with yoyoing prices before a more sustained decision on direction.

Good luck all that are holding. For my money I think we will see 22.5 and the only member of the board that has more shares than I do is Amjad.

Deano,
I'm not a greedy man so I thought I would leave a bit in for you.
You deserve it more than me for the effort you put in!

Big statement re ENQ by CEO-the important thing here is 'Family' trust-one thing gambling with company handouts, unlikely with family savings-and just before tax year. end. Thrown the shorts off a bit.

Onedb1, yes I'm aware of that.

We was actually on the way up at the time within the overall downtrend ;-)

(Mid February then a broker note came out and ruined the party)

I'm actually getting quite excited now, that's 3 substantial buys from the CEO. For my money that's a buy signal in itself. I'd like to see a close over 20p which would activated a 123 low formation on the daily chart. After that I see 21.9 and 22. 5 areas as potential decision points. If the price gets beyond 22.5 then 'obviously' it's "to infinity and beyond time".

Brent $68.4 and heading towards $70

Enquest 19.82p and (hopefully) heading back into the 20p's

I still await the broker upgrades to reflect higher Brent prices than when they penned their analysis !
