Further to its earlier announcement on 25 June 2012, Energy XXI announces that the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John D. Schiller, Jr., acquired 95,344 US $0.005 common stock ("Shares") by an issue of Shares out of treasury as a result of the July 2012 vesting of performance based units (PBUs).
