24/8/2009 13:02 | ENERGY TECHNIQUE PLC ACQUISITION 24 August 2009 The Board of Energy Technique plc is pleased to announce that, pursuant to an agreement dated 21 August 2009, it has acquired from the Administrators of SIAS Building Services LLP its building services maintenance division for a cash consideration of £330,000. The assets acquired comprise the SIAS name, goodwill, certain maintenance contracts and associated fixed assets. This acquisition is the first step in the Board's strategy, as set out in the announcement of preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2009, of expanding the Company's product offering into the facilities management sector. The SIAS maintenance division employs 28 staff providing heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance services to hotels and commercial buildings in the north, midlands and south of England, from a small head office in Crewe, Cheshire. Unaudited turnover for the year ended 31 March 2009 amounted to £3.5 million. The business has approximately 170 planned preventive maintenance contracts providing recurring income streams and the opportunity for extra income arising from call outs and contract works. The Board intends to use this acquisition as a platform for further growth into the facilities management sector | woodie3

14/8/2009 13:58 | The announcement that the company is to expand by acquisition into the 'facilities management' sector with the first deal to be announced 'shortly' is the thing that's causing the excitement at the present time. The proposed deal could involve a reverse takeover with the management therefore in place to power the enlarged group ahead. This in my opinion could be an excellent development for ETQ and could see the share price move significantly ahead as a rerating takes place and as stock becomes available from an enlarged share capital in a more fluid market place. | thorne3
13/8/2009 22:05 | moving up on a little volume - why? | weegeordie

07/8/2009 10:14 | I am pleased the are not de-listing. Half expected them to as for many small cos the cost of an AIM listing is harly worth it; so ETQ must have the self-belief that it will be worth it. | littlemadam
07/8/2009 09:26 | I hope so - have tucked a few away. | weegeordie
07/8/2009 09:19 | I think there could be some long term value here for the very patient. | mikey34
06/8/2009 10:34 | Prleminary results out - nice statement - cash improving which in today's climate is important. The board have reacted well to the adverse conditions in the building sector - good to know that enquiries are up in July - let's hope they can be converted into orders. | weegeordie

02/7/2009 03:22 | indeed, that is because the MMs have increased the price from 0.5p to 8p then have it sitting at 5p, you can buy but you cannot sell, it may be that the 1000 was a broker to broker adjustment, or just a bit of false activity If you want to sell they will only let you sell tiny amounts or offer well below the share price sell price, if they refuse to deal ring them up and demand an explanation or you will report the matter to the exchange as you say it may delist, the MMs don't want to buy stock they cannot sell and know you are just ordinary joe and not the FSA | mryesyes
30/6/2009 18:59 | Dizzy. Can't. MMs will not take the shares. | littlemadam
