The Prophet - Sorry for the delay in answering your message but not being a premium subscriber(and a tight wad)I cannot compile replies.All the same thanks for that offer.I haven't a copy of the Panmure note,and much to my chagrin I have only looked at the EG website once and never tried to contact them.Looking back through the comments on EG at Growth Company Investor they certainly have a chequered history,possibly the market still waiting for a set of figures. After their appointment in March Panmure Gordon have new coverage with some serious upgrades.They have profit of GB1.29 million and eps of 9.53p for Jan 13 and GB1.93 million and eps of 14.30p for Jan 14.That's some very lowly earnings ratios of 6.5 and 4.3 against the sector average and they have a 115 price target.

Announcement today has had a muted response so far although there were some buys on Friday in this seldom traded stock.Shares had an article about a month ago stating they could be bought out circa 90p as an exit for holders.Update due soon.

slightly short of cash. the H2 profit warning appears the culprit. Given the strong pipleline, this should build from here, but a placing is clearly a risk, and would be no bad thing.


It will be interesting to see if there is any director share buying. they last bought at 71p. If they are so bullish about life, I'd expect to see more.

That's huge ! .... 30,000 licences ....

That has to equate to quite a few £ mill per year .... and the market cap is only £8 mill ....

Edit .... in fact the more I digest this, the more the enormity of such a deal becomes apparent .... I buy many different software licences in an industry seperate to financial services .... many not particularly complex .... and those can run into annual costs of over £1,000 per user licence .... 30,000 x £1,000 .... £30 million per annum potential .... if it was only half of that, it would still be £15 million .... and so on ....
