04/4/2007 14:57 | david77; judging from your own answer, and similar points made on other threads, ECG would be eligible. One point that was made by an investor elsewhere, that one should be mindful of, was that it is imperative that you contact your taxman direct and ask him, as they do not seem to have a uniform apllication, and individual taxmans 'opinions' can come to bear. what do you think ECG's prospects/attraction for you are generally? 03/4/2007 18:55 | Looks as though it should qualify as a business asset: Dear Mr Stonebanks, Please see below the answers to your questions. If you have any further queries please feel free to contact Helene Crook (helene.crook@ecxeur 1) We are unable to give you advice, please contact your financial adviser or accountant. 2) Econergy is a trading company and has offices in Boulder, Colorado, and Washington, DC, USA, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Monterrey, Mexico. It has under development 40 clean energy projects throughout Latin America that may also sell carbon credits under the Clean Development Mechanism. In addition to the carbon trades it brokers, it also takes equity stakes in projects which yield carbon credits. Typically these are clean energy investments in wind power, small-scale hydro, bagasse cogeneration, and other forms of clean energy. 3) Econergy’s shares are not traded on any other stock market. I hope this helps. Best wishes Alexandra Parry Haggie Financial LLP | david77
30/3/2007 10:38 | Do we know whether ECG qualifies as a business asset for CGT tax relief? It must not be listed on a recognised stock exchange - AIM is not recognised. Is ECG listed anywhere else? and it must be a trading company - not just an investment company | david77
20/2/2007 16:54 | some dude called will wallis at numis has put a buy rating on ecg with a target of 124... haven't seen an actual research note tho. | wh0sthedaddy
24/1/2007 17:14 | Ecofin ECWC,ECW,ECWO is an investment trust that invests in water and power opportunities ranging from Uranium and Carbon Emission Traders to unquoted Wind farm businesses. Take a look at the graph for the ECWC capital shares for inspiration. MNE Merrill Lynch New Energy Technology has got chunks of CLE, TRE and many others. | praipus
24/1/2007 17:10 | This is an area worth exploring. So far I have managed to find the following companies involved in this area: ECG;CLE;TRE;ECO & AGC.If anybody can add to this list please post. | corrbheinn
28/11/2006 17:20 | well there were quite a few sells over the course of today .... as no buyers (until last two trades of the day) then it's hardly surprising the MM's dropped the price - you can't blame em for that in the absence of buyers and them being 'lumbered' with stock | don muang
28/11/2006 16:39 | But the stock hardly trades from one day to the next and then a 10% fall. something must be going on. | calmtrader
28/11/2006 16:19 | presume it was just the steady stream of sells that effected the fall.... | don muang
28/11/2006 16:05 | I've had this on my watch list for sometime....what's happen to the stock today? It's in freefall and I can't see any news out...anybody know what's happening | calmtrader
22/11/2006 21:58 | anyone out there still following this ? | don muang
16/10/2006 12:45 | not in again yet..... Little suspicious of todays announcement of an additional director. He's already a director or partner in 7 other companies. And (not being ageist), he's not the youngist kid on the block. Perhaps ECG will shortly announce an involvement with one of his company's. However, would assume he's more likely to be dispossing of some of his commercial interests rather than further building them up personally. But assume that ECG will carry out due diligence if this is the case. just my 2p's worth. | don muang
11/7/2006 08:55 | anyone still in this? decent little update today... | wh0sthedaddy
07/6/2006 08:53 | no... but that seems to have been to it's advatage over the last few days. I'm happy to hold and wait. Next interim anouncement is due end August - so let's see what that brings. Might add a few more if noticably positive news - but I assume the first indication of good news is that the share price will 'magicallyy' jump up prior to any announcement. | krishall
07/6/2006 08:44 | in for a few hundred quid but nothing huge. not exactly the most actively traded stock is it?! | wh0sthedaddy
07/6/2006 06:33 | bit quite on this BB so I thought I'd post something: 7 - 9 Jun 2006, 'Climate Change and the Future of the American West' Boulder, CO Exploring the Legal and Policy Dimensions "Global warming exists and we have to do something about it." John H. Marburger III, Science Adviser to President George W. Bush Princeton University, Spring, 2005 Out of interest, is anyone else out there still monitoring his stock? | krishall
09/5/2006 13:09 | at least it seems to be holding steady (.... famous last words ? !!!) - unlike CLE, CAO and TRE ( which are still trickling downwards ). Anyone else out there holding ECG? | krishall
27/4/2006 12:41 | but if yesterdays FT report on carbon credits turns out to correct, then how long will any bounce back with TRE last? perhaps future potential of ECG (with it's different geographical bias) might be better than TRE? | krishall
27/4/2006 12:18 | good chance to top up on TRE today - it's dropped a lot but is on the rise again | asparks
25/4/2006 09:42 | Camco's epic is CAO - up 25% so far. shame econergy is not doing the same! | wh0sthedaddy
24/4/2006 13:44 | 4 pages of stuff here: | wh0sthedaddy
24/4/2006 09:30 | Anyone know about Camco, due to float tomorrow? | sh4rpie
10/4/2006 17:45 | thanks for pointing to the two articles. let's see how 'fast' things progess for ECG from here onward ... | krishall
10/4/2006 15:19 | and another article you might find interesting: | wh0sthedaddy
10/4/2006 15:15 | interesting article on the KfW deal: | wh0sthedaddy |
