DUNEDIN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

Results of First General Meeting

In connection with the proposals for the reconstruction, voluntary winding-up and rollover of Dunedin Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc into Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust plc, the Board is pleased to announce that the special resolution, which was put forward at the First General Meeting held today, has been voted on and passed by Shareholders.

Details of the proxy votes cast on the resolutions are included at the end of this announcement.
