they are no recording all the buys i have just bought 6448@78.5p which along with the rest would show more ,unless they are trying to get them @ auction

Downgrading a company on the ex dividend date sounds like exactly the sort of trick you might expect from G.S.... I have no words - printable, at least.

Nope — not claiming shenanigans. Just noting that Sports Direct still has a put over a 10.51% stake, unless I’m losing track.

Last RNS on the matter was at the start of June. Though it’s never been entirely clear how Goldman hedged the position.

Debs has been lower than it is today, and Ashley’s rejigged the position many times over the past two years, so we’ve absolutely no clue where the triggers might be.

If you look at the history of Deb they have not fallen much on ex div day previously don't know why so much fall today?

Typical of Goldman to downgrade them today why not yesterday? By the way the have a price of 1.50 on Sainsbury with a sell rating dont know if to believe these brokers its all one big game they downgrade so they can pile in cheap themselves after all year end is coming up and they all have to meet targets......

ASDA didn't take part and John Lewis warned last year they may have to reconsider how it impacted full year sales.

I suspect there will indeed be a raft of profit warnings.
