Their net debt figure is the interest bearing loans and borrowings taken from the cash at hand.
Note another director purchase so standing back, price holding well at the moment compared with market.

This did go to over 600p after all which suggests that something smells fishy on here, the results, statements have either been fiddled with, if not, then the share price is getting into over priced territory, I'll monitor it and I'll be looking to short it, as I was not born yesterday!

Christopher Kemball, Chairman of Davis Service Group, commented:
"Davis has achieved a great deal in 2005 and delivered a satisfactory
trading result for the year. While the UK market has continued to be challenging,
profit and margin targets for the Continental European business have again been
achieved.
In the year ahead, the UK will remain challenging, especially in the short-term.
On Continental Europe, we are targeting further good progress in 2006, while
continuing to pursue acquisition opportunities. Overall we expect to deliver
a satisfactory outcome for 2006."

FWIW, I'm short, as of about a week ago, purely because I thought the chart looked 'toppy'

nope, bought in today on reverse of bear trend.
Hopefully have timed it right with the price about to break thru the 7 day EMA.

Dunno if anyone else is watching this.
Last results were lacklustre and price took a bit of stick.
Lots of volume today and price holding up. Something in the offing?

excerpt:

"..... In April 2002 the price stood at 473p, but by the end of the year it had retreated to 226p. Since then there has been a bounce that looks suspiciously like one of the dead cat variety, taking the stock up to 310p earlier this month. At this point the momentum appears to have run out and the shares have now broken back below the 300p level. Given the fact that the HSS unit has been trading weaker than expected, the group has attracted downgrades for 2002 and 2003 from Merrill Lynch, just to add to the misery."
