|Do we keep the same epic code with a name change>
edit: it's BRSN, need a new thread/change header
final edit: started a new thread here...
Tipped in press today|
|A name change as well !
The debt is usually the only talking point with commentators, good to see a positive from Questor. My only dissappointment is the decontamination division's progress which as I read it from the recent results has not been spectacular.|
|Recommended by Gary White (Daily Telegraph's Questor) as a play on ageing and more affluent populations. Current year PE of 10 dropping to 9, and 5% yield.
|A busy board.|
|Broker's stance following pre close trading update today

|yep, broke out yesterday, which is nice.
|Good rise, wonder why, now at highest point since Sept 08.
Read somewhere this week '' the debt will eventually strangle the co, unlikely to service debt repayments with present growth rate ''. presumably the yield would be affected.
We shall see .|
|Another substantial share purchase by new CEO, topical thread header!
|Chart still looking rather positive - reckon the breakout isn't far off - trading statement in April.
|Chart still curving upwards.
|Heading up to the highs - big breakout coming here after having a few other goes at it imo.
|Chart turning up and chunky director buying this week.
Co sounding rather posive.

|Great results. Nice quiet thread - this one's flying under the radar so far.|
|Steady progress since June, new CEO on the way. Interims Friday.|
|Yes Europe is a potential problem. I had to laugh at the Barclays note which said buy them as a play on UK citizens holidaying at home, Presumably they meant more hotel linen.|
|Johnson Group not in the same ballpark, would suggest Synergy Healthcare where decontamination is the key, but they got debt, in fact hard pushed to think of a debt free outfit in this sector. Davis getting more into decontamination.
Europe (incl Ireland) is a worry especially emerging countries ex soviet, but Davis have had plenty of time to reflect after previous European excursions.
Debt -from Feb prelims
'The group had total facilities of £788m at 31 December 2008, committed to between 2012 and 2018. Fixed borrowings totalled approximately £416 million with an average interest rate of 4.3% per annum in place until 2010 at the earliest.' so you can sleep at night.
The share price did reach bargain levels earlier on but events have caught up & it was a nice uplift on friday, expect to slipback next week but still enjoy the dividend.|
|loryd ' the fundamental model is flawed '
interesting & agree with your management comment,
but who else is there in UK at least.|
|A mystery to me why this is so high. Horrible debt and tough markets (which the trading statement does nothing to contradict). They may claim the debt is secure until 2012, but the fact is companies like this have no margin for error. They may be very well run (someone close to them I know says they are) but the fundamental model is flawed without a load of luck.|
Their net debt figure is the interest bearing loans and borrowings taken from the cash at hand.
Note another director purchase so standing back, price holding well at the moment compared with market.|
according to Sharescope have net cash 82m
1 year gearing .85% 5 year gearing 70.5%
forecast to earn 35p approx.
Debt doesn't seem critical in this case.
Have posted the top 15 350 indebted companies on the anything/oilman thread|
