Galaxy in Trading Halt for last of the Cap raising $20 million likely figure to see them through to ramp up and cash positive in June/July and further upgrades to plant.

LITHIUM HYDROXIDE EXPANSION FEASIBILITY STUDY COMMENCED
Galaxy commenced a feasibility study to assess the potential to expand into lithium hydroxide production at the Jiangsu Plant. The study is investigating the potential for Galaxy to produce 5,000 tpa of battery grade lithium hydroxide, in addition to the current design of 17,000 tpa of lithium carbonate. This would take total capacity of the Jiangsu project to 22,000 tpa of lithium products. A lithium hydroxide circuit would include construction of a lithium hydroxide production plant on available land next to the existing Jiangsu Plant.
The demand for battery grade lithium hydroxide has been growing strongly and there is limited production capacity around the world. A battery grade lithium hydroxide plant would expand Galaxy's product mix significantly and, at a relatively minimal cost by making use of existing infrastructure, allow the Company to tap into growth in both markets, thereby extending Galaxy's battery sector customer base.

4th April Galaxy Res

Last week, the Plant recorded output of 33 tonnes on a single day (70% of design output) demonstrating the potential for continued production hikes in the coming months. Lithium battery grade $6800 per tonne.

In May 2012, global lithium producer Rockwood Lithium lifted global lithium salts prices by US$1,000 per metric tonne. This included lithium carbonate and hydroxide, other salt products. It was the second time Rockwood hiked lithium salts prices in as many years after announcing a 20% increase in prices in June 2011

In Q4 2012, technical grade lithium carbonate prices dropped marginally by around 1.25% to US$6,300/t- US$6,600/t. This was due to increased supply from Chinese brine manufacturers. However, technical grade prices have risen in early 2013 on supply constraints and are almost on parity with battery grade price

I used to post quite a while ago but got fed up with the negative responses. I-ve been in for a number of years and also believe that recovery in price is certainly not far away.

Sniffer78 = your list of holders is interesting but not quite accurate as I should be at number 6, via a nominee account.

edit: Acta-topup, with your pleasing post I put you back 'on board'....

Your probably aware who wherehavealltheyachts is.Has been DumpAt0803hrs, xmasrobbo, user 250148,flopinfo and so on.Posting thousands of messages on every other thread.

Started off on ADVFN as robson1974.

MWA not doing too well at the moment. He still posts but not as robson.

Ironic that he is also in CNR and they just had a placing and other good news and they have dropped. When they were rising he use to post all the time on the thread but not now they have dropped. He is the classic internet bully who hides behind his keyboard. He is hurting.

Really is a nasty piece of work.He has ruined a lot of threads and upset many inexperienced shareholders in the past.

So here he is.

GXY

I'd say they are taking their time because they are matching production to meet their increasing customer supply requirements. Lets do the numbers....

Li2CO3 sells for about $6,600/t. The plant produces 17kt pa
Lets assume costs, excluding spodumene feed, are $1,600.

This leaves $5,000/t profit while the plant feeds on the stockpile. With the plant is running at 100% capacity...

17000 x $5000 = $85m pa profit

With the plant running at 55% capacity (now)...

$85m x 55/100 = $47m pa profit

Assuming they still have about half the stated spodumene stockpile remaining, then they can keep the plant running at the current rate of production for 12mths, or 6mths when the plant ramps up to full production. So they are not desperate for money based on those estimates due to production, sales and the spodumene stockpile.

We can also expect the Korean Consortium to announce commencement of the Sal de Vida development and the lenders to agree to refinance existing and new loans
